“We just moved here. Walked in to ask for a takeout menu. It felt so warm and inviting and the staff behind the counter were so friendly that we decided to stay. Our server Jessica was very welcoming. My wife enjoyed the corned beef special on gluten-free bread. She said it tasted like real deli corned beef. I got a large hunk of Reuben quiche (it was Quiche of the Day) and it was delicious! Large chunks of corned beef, cheesy, and a yummy crust. Definitely going back, so many items in the display case looked tantalizing. This place feels like a hidden gem.“

Overall, the staff are friendly but just make sure to order week ahead of time“

“Loved dropping in here on a Saturday. Very relaxed vibes walking in here, perfect for a relaxed meet up, coffee or quick bite. My wife and I ordered the Ume Plum Tea, Vietnamese Latte, Khang’s Special Banh Mi, Crispy Tofu Banh Mi, and Doenjang Butter Fries. The Ume Plum Tea is so unique, and their Vietnamese Latte is the best I’ve had. Their food portions are big, and will definitely leave you full. Highly recommend this place!“

“Just visited Uncle Bobbie's Coffee and Books and I'm highly upset that I live in VA and can't experience this place on a regular basis. I had a great time. the space is so warm and inviting. I love coffee and books and black spaces and I experienced all three. The staff was friendly' attentive, and helpful. My iced Chai and almond croissant were delicious. And I could have spent all day perusing the books and other merchandise. In the end I bought three books, three stickers, a bookmark, and a t-shirt. I'll definitely purchase more on the website. And I'll definitely visit again the next time I'm in Philly.“

“Some of the best black coffee I’ve had! I’m originally from Illinois. While the cafes I’ve been to in that state are good, this place didn’t water it down, and I didn’t even ask for strong black coffee like I normally would in Illinois. Very polite people! “I love Adelie Coffee House. The coffee is simply delicious! It's rich, smooth, aromatic, soothing - like a warm blanket fresh out of the dryer. I've only tried the cheese danish. It was very good. Though I’m not a big coffee drinker, I always find something on their diverse menu. Their iced chai latte is my go-to, which is delicious, consistent, and clearly made with high-quality and contribute to buying locally sourced ingredients. I’ve also tried a few pastries and the avocado toast, and everything has been fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and satisfying. There is much more on the menu that I plan to try in the future.

Sunday Girl is more than a coffee bar... it’s a vibrant community hub. They’re dog-friendly, queer-friendly, woman-led, and actively partner with local organizations and clubs. “I’m so happy to have Froot in my neighborhood. Everything is delicious. The banana stand and flamingo smoothies are my fave. And today I tried a CYO wrap with chicken, arugula, cranraisins, cucumbers and hummus and it was sooooo good. My daughter, who is a very picky eater, loves their açaí bowl and the weekend waffles. We love Froot and are so happy to have a healthy takeout option so close to home.“
