“Jim is fabulous to work with! We were moving my daughter to a tiny NYC apartment and found this lovely furniture and thought it would be perfect for the look she wanted. Jim was so helpful and even sent me pics of items not listed on the website yet. We saw a small table in one of his pics and asked if he could re-paint it another color and add a shelf. He did and also painted a shelf he sent a pic of in a matching color. Jim was able to deliver the exact day we needed the furniture. The furniture is so adorable and my daughter is so happy with how it all turned out!“

“This is exactly what you want from a small counter service shop. The pastries and menu items are unique to the area and very flavorful. Items marked spicy are truly spicy, so be careful if you're sensitive to spice. The dining area is cozy but not cramped. Food and drinks are ready fast, and the staff is friendly and attentive.“

“Loved dropping in here on a Saturday. Very relaxed vibes walking in here, perfect for a relaxed meet up, coffee or quick bite. My wife and I ordered the Ume Plum Tea, Vietnamese Latte, Khang’s Special Banh Mi, Crispy Tofu Banh Mi, and Doenjang Butter Fries. The Ume Plum Tea is so unique, and their Vietnamese Latte is the best I’ve had. Their food portions are big, and will definitely leave you full. Highly recommend this place!“

“What a lovely and delicious experience. Owners are so kind, the food is well priced for the portions and straight up yummy; wish ida talen pictures. Got the beef chilaquiles with an ube vietnamese iced coffee, and my boyfriend got the beef rice bulgogi with a salted foam iced coffee. Left feeling full and comforted, like any great food and atmosphere would. Excellent spot.“

“This place was awesome! Some of the best coffee I've had in the city, and they carry onyx branded beans which was super cool! Staff was really friendly, and chill too. The space was strangely... clinical feeling? But that's just a personal opinion thing 🤷‍♀ it was very clean and thats all that matters to me. However, it was very quiet, I felt like I shouldn't be talking with my husband even though I wanted to + did. Lots of people working on computers along the wall.“

“Some of the best black coffee I’ve had! I’m originally from Illinois. While the cafes I’ve been to in that state are good, this place didn’t water it down, and I didn’t even ask for strong black coffee like I normally would in Illinois. Very polite people! Got my drink in like a minute or two. Went well with my walk around the area!“

“I’ve been getting banh mi from Cafe Cuong for over 15 years, they have the best banh mi in town. However, last time I went in 2025, the young guy at the counter overcharged $5…this is not about the 5 bucks that he try to steal, it’s about even with loyal customers, he’s still trying to to screw over. Really smart running the business..I stop going!“

“I love Matcha Maiko NYC and thought I’d try the one here in Philly. I got the normal matcha latte with 50% sugar, whole milk, and normal ice. The latte itself came out not as dark as I expected, maybe too much milk was added and little matcha. The service was amazing tho, the lady at the counter was really nice and patient as I decided what to get. Aesthetics of the cafe were also great, very minimal and cozy vibes. “The space is beautiful and thoughtfully curated. I ordered a tea and rather than being handed a cup of hot water with a tea bag in it, the tea was properly steeped with the tea bag removed so that I could enjoy without worrying about it being oversteeped—such a helpful touch!!“

This was the 2nd time and we could not believe the food could be better than it was last October, but it was! The roasted pepper deviled eggs and the lamb meatballs were spectacular. “I love Adelie Coffee House. The coffee is simply delicious! It's rich, smooth, aromatic, soothing - like a warm blanket fresh out of the dryer. I've only tried the cheese danish. It was very good. The baristas are great - all of them. The coffee house itself is bare bones, yet clean and cozy. You have the option to sit outside if you like. I'm so glad this little gem is right down the street from my house.💜“

“To be honest, my wife and I (who live a few blocks away) came here when they had their soft opening. We had been aware that it was opening for what felt like ages but there was a delay for whatever reason. When the soft opening came, we walked in with excitement but there was no food left and the coffee was mediocre. For some dumb reason, that experience prevented us from going back for a long time, until today. I got the sababa sandwich and some pastries and it's hands down the best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time, and there are a number of good coffee/breakfast spots in the area with good food. That is all to say, shame on me for waiting so long. I'm glad/lucky to have Stephens cafe in our neighborhood.“
