“I had dinner here for my 50th birthday last week. The food was exceptional and the service was impeccable. I definitely will be returning. The only thing I wasn't aware of is they only serve water. If you want to drink anything else, you have to bring your own. But it definitely isn't a deal breaker. Get the steak! You won't regret it!“

“I know that this is not the old Oakhurst. This is a different experience. The old place was good and it is still good now, just different. I had a good burger. The fries were real good and my wife enjoyed their lasagna. The staff were very friendly.
Do not compare it to what it used to be just enjoy it for what it is. Also, the staff does not need to hear you tell them how it used to be. They know.“

“A bunch of friends went to Shanksville to see the 9/11 Memorial, and we were hungry and we found the Coal Miner's Diner. It has a rather large menu and friendly service and reasonable prices will definitely come back here another time.“
