Baristas are creative AND friendly whatta combo. They brew a lovely cuppa as well Friendly fellow coffee-niks not intrusive...had a chat then settled in to read a bit. Lots of room to work in the back. Menu varies so it's always interesting. Try it...you'll like it ?“

“We got 2 hot drinks and 2 vegan tex mex wraps. My chai was much too sweet for me, but my husband loved his hot mocha. The wraps were delicious but very small. We spent almost $30 for quite a small breakfast so it was a bit expensive, but I'd be excited to go back and try different drinks.“
“My go to for new places is always a chicken salad sandwich, and I must say I give the flood city cafe the credit for having the best. The sandwich tasted homemade and the croissant was beyond crispy but also the right amount of fresh. The macaroni could use more cheese but also tasted very fresh and homemade. Lastly the ice coffee we got was a 10/10. I’ve tried a lot of coffee and yet again, this coffee would probably be one of my favorites I’ve ever tried. Definitely recommend stopping by. Great energy from staff and beautiful cafe.“
“This place is amazing! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is authentic, and the service is friendly. There are not enough Sunday brunch places in Johnstown and this is really filling a need! My friends and I were very impressed. I only wish they were open a bit later though, til 1pm or 2pm. My crew likes to hang out at church after service ends at 1030, and Jax closes at noon so we had to rush there.“

“I absolutely love it here. The food is always delicious and fresh. The bread he makes by scratch and you can tell. The breads are not heavy and they do not have all the filler that grocery stores have. The breads are all light and flakey. The asiago bagels are amazing!!! The smash burgers are the best around. Family atmosphere. Everyone is so polite, personable, and friendly. I go at least once a week. Amazing breakfast and lunch spot. Casual meetings or friends meeting, the perfect place.“
