“Great ice cream! Outside and inside seating. Order from window on the outside. Closed on Mondays. Generous portions on ice cream. A little light in the toppings.Quickly noticed this is a Local favorite. Everyone comes here for ice cream. Within 30 minutes we witnessed at-least 60 people rotate through.Also super fast. People’s order were flying out the pick up window.“

“Nice place to stop for icecream. Not the best icecream I’ve ever had but still good. But a nice wholesome family atmosphere. With a farm theme. There is a big glass window to watch milk being bottled if you get there when they are doing it. And farm animals outside for your kids to enjoy. I got a hot fudge sundae with nuts, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. I asked for extra fudge, and I sure got plenty.“

I was a little disappointed in that for homemade ice cream made right in-house (and at a premium price) the ingredients were not as basic as I would have preferred (milk, cane sugar, cream, etc.) as opposed to some ingredients used in more commercially-made ice creams.“

“Best ice cream in schuylkill county my new favorite is the ice cream nachos you get choc or vanilla soft serve and your choice of a topping and a syrup and a handful of homemade waffle chips ......anything else is extra but I like to get oreo topping caramel and hot fudge it's so good less than 10$ ...need 2 hands to carry lol bit it's deffinatly worth it“

“Fun place in need of some repairs. I believe this place recently changed hands, so I’m sure they will catch up with some of the things that are in need of maintenance. That said it is a fun course to play on. You do have to climb steps in a number of places, for example, to play inside the pirate ship, which makes it not accessible. Our group of six got a four holes in one on the night, and also found a couple of holes where everyone got a six, because that’s the highest number you can get according to the rules. There’s one hole that no one was going to get if we stood there all night. There are a number of places where water should’ve been flowing, and it wasn’t, but the biggest things I saw that needed addressed were on the pirate ship itself. Some of the boards were not in the best of shape, and one of the hand railings was split to the point where it was dangerous. Overall, though, I think it was left to be rustic on purpose. You would not be running around up there without shoes, so the fact that the boards are older, and not super smooth is not a huge issue. We found the staff to be extremely courteous and helpful. They were great at helping us select the right size clubs, and they had enough different fall colors, so everyone could have a different color. the place has a huge selection of Hershey’s ice cream, which we enjoyed after our game of golf. We played on the upper Cove side of the course, which is 18 holes. There is also a lower Cove side, which is an additional 18 holes. To play both you have to pay for two games, which is reasonable in my thinking. For adults, the games are $10. I would probably go back again and play the lower Cove. For me, as someone with some physical challenges, I’m not sure I would play the upper Cove again, but if you don’t have those problems, you would enjoy the course. As a bonus, the sunset was gorgeous while we were there, and I captured the pirate ship in it.“

“My family loves this place. I look forward to the seasonal strawberry and peach sundaes every year. The black raspberry & peanut butter soft serve is amazing. Other family favorites are the stuffed snowball (like a snow cone with ice cream in a dish), hot fudge sundae (extra good with wet walnuts), & the strawberry cheesecake shake.“

“Great place to treat the family. Staff is always friendly. Hardly have any issues order dessert from this location.Suggestions: My family ordered 2 large mango gelati and twist yesterday. The twist was awesome, but the gelatis tasted very chemically. You need may to filter the water or change the filter going to the ice machine.Edit:Thank you so much for the reply The chemical taste was not the custard it was the mango favored ice in the gelati.“

“Friendly's has been a favorite of ours over the years, but we stopped coming for a while because our experience was often disappointing. Gave this location a shot and had a great experience between our waitress, the food, and even the kitchen manager who came out to see how she could accommodate our daughter's gluten free needs. Bravo Friendly's! Great to be with you again!“

“We were told by a number of sources (hotel, tour company) not to miss a visit toRita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard. Famous in Congress Pkwy IL...but why? , it is decorated as an old-fashioned ice cream parlor, which seems welcoming. I expected more from this "institution." I found the flavor, and the flavor choices, of the ice cream was about what you can get a a grocery store. I'm glad I got my choice in a cup, because it was quite soft and would have been really drippy if I had it on a cone. Overall, average. I would have been really steamed if I had waited in a long line, but fortunately it wasn't busy when we were there. Meh.“

“Omg i saw this driving by on the way to Hershey Park and we did a quick turn around u turn to go to orange julius. I loved strawberry banana, but i really wanted my tropicolada smoothie they have and apparently the DQ/Orange Julius combo only has 3 types. Bummer because it is advertised as an orange julius. I need me some tripicolada. Yummy“

“For a place that sells pizza, ice cream, tacos, and Indian food, I've been pretty skeptical about visiting. However I tried their "The Works" pizza this evening and am honestly impressed. The crust was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, topped with lots of cheese and good veggies. Simple but delicious. Will definitely come back for the pizza!“
