“I brought my daughter as we recently moved to Kennett. The restaurant was very clean and the entire staff was so welcoming. The owner came over to make sure we were enjoying everything and couldn’t have been any nicer. The pizza is very good and my daughter loved the cheesesteak. They offer delivery as well which is convenient.”

“Excellent pizza! Didn't want to judge too quickly so decided to wait until we ordered again. This time, it was just as good and the service was just as helpful and friendly. I am gluten free, (not celiac) so we gave theirs a shot along with the regular ones we ordered. All I can say is WOW! I have tried so many places in the area hoping to find a GF crust that resembles 'real' pizza, and Stone Mill has figured it out! I asked if it was cauliflower crust or a blend, and the person answering the phone happily gave us the ingredients of what it is made from, without sounding annoyed at the time it took to explain. The crust is great, not pre-made and thankfully not cauliflower. It's not paper thin and came out well done with that charred look and wood fire taste like original crust has. But most importantly, it was delicious. It's not a tiny little 10" crust, or a personal size - it's the same size as all the others. (I was so excited when I saw it I dove right in without taking a picture!) The whole experience, from the politeness when ordering on the phone, to the finished products were great. It's amazing how many places make it sound like they are doing you the favor when they take an order. Great pizza and great service. This is the only place we will order from going forward.”

“Administrative details - While you usually must make a reservation a year in advance (which I did), there are a very few earlier spots available on their website. In addition, if you are on the email list, they send the occasional last-minute availability. Talula’s is BYOB. The price was $125 and with all the other things, taxes, gratuities, it came to $160. The Nook Table is available for 6-8 diners and the Farm Table is for larger parties. Website link is below. Everything is presented in “tasting” small portions. In addition to the menu, they provided a couple of additional offerings. I did not do a good job of capturing the delightful descriptions of the food provided by our server. (The next time I go, I will video the descriptions if they allow.) The group did a great job of bringing wine which was beautifully poured in appropriate glassware by our server. The server also paired the wine with the offerings for us! The service was exceptional without being pretentious. After each tasting, plates, utensils and glasses were cleared and refurbished so discreetly that you hardly noticed. The menu changes with the “farm to table” availability. My favorite was a squash tarte. [I was delighted to find that I did not like the foie gras. It is “made” in a most inhumane and horrible way. This is the only time I have eaten it and I will never eat it again.] I was sorry to find that by the Black Garlic Beef Ribeye (#6 on the list), I was getting to the point of “too much food.” The only downsides were “too much food” for most of us and the wines they suggested for the pairings were hard/impossible to find. I personally did not like the varieties of wines they suggested for pairings. The rest of the party enjoyed the comparable wines they were able to find and allowed the server to pair with the tastings. I will be making a reservation for next year very soon. I have already made a reservation for the “sister” Talula’s Garden in Philly for September.”

“I just had these wings at a get together with some neighbors after a loss of a great guy. These were so freaking good I had to get on here and post my first ever recommendation. I don’t usually go for the boneless wings but they were also outstanding. Five stars from this wing nut.”

“Great ice cream, fun atmosphere, even has live music on occasion. It’s pet friendly and our dog loves visiting and being able to go check out the cows when they are out.

Parking: Parking is on gravel and lawn areas. It does get busy especially in the summer.

Kid-friendliness: Kids love ice cream. There’s a large lawn that the kids can run around in while you spend time here.”

“We heard about this place via Facebook and had to come try it out for ourselves. We tried their cheesesteaks. I have to say they were really good. They really pack a lot of steak! “They give you a lot of food. The brother that helped us was nice as I could hear him talking to my husband and trying to ensure he had some free tea as we waited for our food.

I didn't see any restroom in the waiting/ dining area,but when my husband needed to use the bathroom, they allowed him to use theirs on the back, which was nice”

“I was hungry for stuffed grape leaves and ordered that and a few other items for dinner and baklava for dessert and everything was amazingly delicious!!!! I called to let the manager know how much we enjoyed our takeout meals and she was so gracious and immediately signed us up for their rewards program. I highly recommend Cafe Emis. Everything was freshly made and so, so good!!!”

“We stop in once a week. Sometimes we eat there and sometimes we call and pick up. The atmosphere is fabulous. If we ever do have to wait for our food, it’s totally worth it. If my husband and I are together we sit and have wine while we wait. They are all very friendly! If we get take out, we always get extra so we can have leftovers, which are always delicious. We reheat the pizza in the toaster oven, it’s amazing. We also love the desserts there! It’s just a great spot and we love it! I’ve never once been disappointed with any of their service or food.”

“I can't recommend Little Goat Coffee enough. It has the best coffee and best people serving you that coffee in Delaware. I was born and raised in Newark. I moved away a few years ago and this is one of the things I miss most. Every time I'm back in Newark I stop at Little Goat. Cheers guys!”

“Drove pass this place so many times until my brother said his friend works here then I finally tried it which I wasn’t disappointed.

This is a mom n pop type of food spot so you have a variety of snacks, drinks, desserts, and hot or cold foods. Had a hard time choosing something cause the menu so large.

My reuben sandwich was good and flavorful and I got some onion rings which are thick cut, beer battered very good and even better paired with some blue cheese.

I will be back based off my food cause I enjoyed. Definitely will be 1 of my frequent spots.”
