“I go out of my way to visit here when I’m in town. The previous time I was here I modified a signature bowl and they accommodated me. Food tastes fresh and the rice in the bowls is my favorite as it is hard to find a place that cooks sushi rice correctly.“

“The boba was of a good consistency and tasted of brown sugar. The earl grey tea at 70% sweetness was flavored well. The frothy milk cap took this drink to an unprecedented level of delight. “We loved the first dining experience and kept coming back drove about 30 minutes just to enjoy the flavors. But recently the price has increased and the quality of the chicken has reduced. I remember we ordered boneless with all white meat and now they are mixed and to be honest I don't like the taste of the boneless anymore, they are like not real meat or not well cooked which is unlikely if the claim was true 360 degree frying and timed by the robotic arms. Everytime we spent between $80 - $170 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Although we still like the unique flavors but with the price, the quality and the portion we don't think we might visit again.“

We ordered the 5 pcs chicken tender combo and the spicy chicken sandwich. Both were decent for what it was. They had a lot of special sauces for the chicken. Cool little drink place to hang out with friends and they even have free wifi if you need to get some work done.“

Kung Fu Tea for the chicken? I’m running the other way.

When we pulled up to Kung Fu Tea, the first thing that surprised me was how big the location actually is. There’s a lot of seating inside, so it feels more like a place you can actually hang out instead of just grabbing a drink and leaving.

The front counter was also really well decorated. It didn’t feel overly modern or like a typical chain store. It had its own little personality and unique touch to it.

They also had these really cool benches where you could sit and wait for your drinks, which I thought was a nice touch.

For drinks, we both ordered the Honey Oolong Milk Tea. I got the large and my girlfriend got the medium, and honestly they were both fantastic. Smooth flavor, lightly sweet, and the honey paired really well with the oolong. The boba was also exactly the kind of sweet treat we were looking for. The drinks alone is a 5 out of 5 for me.

Now we also ordered the popcorn chicken, and I have to be honest here… I would strongly recommend staying AWAY from it. When I bit into it, it honestly didn’t taste like chicken. It had a really gamey flavor and the texture reminded me a lot of when I had alligator in Florida.

My girlfriend tried it too and said the exact same thing.

So yeah, big disclaimer: never order the chicken. Stay away from the chicken.

But if you’re coming here for boba and a chill vibe to hang out, it’s definitely a great spot.“

“Amazing tea store. The store is bright, impeccably clean, and so zen. The teas and coffee are so fresh and delicious. We tried the pearl milk tea, dark lemon coffee, and strawberry fruit sherbet. They are amazing. The bobas are fresh and chewy. The prices are surprisingly reasonable. The owner is so kind and friendly. There is a public parking lot right next to the store which is so convenient. We will definitely come back!“

“I met Agnes today.. she raved about the cafe she and her sister share. Her pride and overall light when describing their cafe drew me in. We visited the cafe and ordered veggie dumplings and veggie egg rolls with fried rice and boba tea to go. The food was beyond amazing, super flavorful, fresh, well priced and the portions were on point! To top it off, Agnes's sister ( didn't catch her name) she was kind, patient and accommodating-. cafe was also really cute and welcoming. We will be returning!
