“The chicken is amazing! Be prepared to spend$$$. We also ordered chicken fried rice, it was ok but the portion was so small for $11+, it’s rice, no need to be cheap!“

“my family made a stop in after a hike. we had the privilege of meeting the owner who was truly sweet and humble. their staff were very friendly and walked my family of 6 through their menu. everything we got was scrumptious. I ordered their white cheddar dusted Korean fried chicken. crispy chicken coated in a aged white cheddar. I paired it with their cannonball dipping sauce. my husband ordered their ghost pepper fried chicken which he devoured. our 15 year old ordered sesame chicken which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. If you're a Philadelphia sports fanatic they have some pretty neat memorabilia up on the walls. we highly recommend you stop in and check it out. totally worth the trip.“

“This was our first time here. The gentleman who helped us was super friendly and described the different flavors. We ended up ordering the sweet & spicy chicken with a side of cheesy fries. The order came out super quick and SO FRESH! The chicken was extra crunchy and the sauce was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I will definitely be retuning to try the rest of the flavors!“

“Stopped in for some lunch with my son after some golf, and it did not disappoint! Junior got the secret sauce rice bowl, and I got some wings for me and the family. The customer service was great and after a short we were able to enjoy our lunch! Great food all the way around, will be returning!“

“This Korean Restaurant opened about a year ago in Blue Bell and we've been there a handful of times for lunch. The Menu is limited compared to other Korean establishments, but the prices are great and the food delicious! The Korean Chicken Wings are spicy but so tasty! Great Restaurant if you're in the mood for cheap Korean food.“

“If you're a fan of chicken wings, this place is an absolute must-try! Their wings are perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in the most flavorful sauces. Whether you love sweet, spicy, or savory, they have options that will blow you away. The balance of flavors is spot on, and the quality of the chicken is excellent.“

“I liked their Seolleongtang (ox bone soup) and stone pot bimbimbop! Their banchan (side dish) was fresh and yummy. I liked how their seafood pancake was very fluffy and not too oily. But if you’re more into crunchy ones you might not like it!“

“This is not a fancy restaurant, it is a hole in the wall with excellent, authentic food. We ordered from across the menu and took leftovers with us. It is BYOB so don't forget to bring a bottle. You also need a reservation most nights as it is small inside. We loved the food and the service was excellent.“
“Unique and delicious spot at the Upper Darby H Mart food court. Love to order their jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) takeout. Authentic and chewy with good size portions. Easy to call over the phone. Simple and well priced. Service is excellent.“

“Tucked away in the bustling food court of Upper Darby, Mong Shil Tong Tong is a hidden gem that offers an authentic taste of Korea. This cozy eatery serves up a delightful array of Korean dishes that are both traditional and innovative, capturing the essence of Korean cuisine with every bite. From the sizzling sounds of bulgogi on the grill to the comforting warmth of sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew), the menu is a testament to the rich culinary heritage of Korea. The restaurant’s commitment to quality and flavor is evident in their popular dishes like the cheese ddeokbokki and crispy cutlet, which are praised for their generous portions and homestyle taste. The friendly atmosphere and the personal touch of service make Mong Shil Tong Tong not just a meal, but a cultural experience that leaves diners longing for more. ?️??“

“It's funny to me that people complain about the new ownership. I actually gave this place a shot because it was under new ownership (I felt that service and quality of food under prior ownership was extremely subpar). I like the self-serve concept and the food seemed good enough. I ordered donkatsu, and I expected there was a reason for the higher price - the portion was huge. Came with a small scoop of Korean cole slaw and pasta, and a side cup of cream soup. I wish they gave a larger portion of rice with the dish, but I wouldn't take away a star for the small portion. I'm used to more of a tangy sauce with donkatsu, but this place's sauce had more of a nutty taste to it. Overall, quick and friendly service, and decent food. I'd come back again.“

“Out of all the rice cake I’ve had I love this places style so much, mild spice and the udon + the rice cake is perfect. So thankful we are blessed with little gems like this even outside of big cities. May they prosper forever and continue to make wonderful food.“

“We called the night before and made reservations for our party of 6 for lunch at 1:30 PM on Saturday (today). We arrived early and we’re seated immediately. Food was delicious and service was friendly and courteous. We had a mix of starters (beef jap chae, Korean fried chicken, Dakgangjeong & chili calamari), entrees (bulgogi, 2 Dolsot Bibimbop & ramen), table bbq (Joo Mul Luk Marinated ribeye & Samgyupsal Thinly sliced pork belly), and drinks. Entrees and table bbq comes with white rice, ban Chan, and veggies. We ate everything and we’re satisfied with happy bellies. The restaurant is quaint, nice atmosphere, and clean. Metered parking is available in front of restaurant. We recommend trying this place, and will be back again.“

“Ever since we discovered Bonjung we can’t get enough of their delicious food. My husband and I have gone there three times in the past 10 days. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Can’t recommend it enough. They knew it was my birthday on Saturday and I got a complimentary fried ice cream.“

“The only other spot that I'm aware of the does wood charcoal Korean bbq is Kim's Restaurant( Kim's BBQ) in the Olney section of North Philly. The prices here at Nagwon Garden are way more affordable. Wood charcoal adds a nice flavor to the meat. Most other places use either electric or gas table grills. The other thing is, when you call them, the lady answers in Korean. They don't advertise that they use wood charcoal in English, only in Korean. So you know it's an authentic and legit experience! Take it from a Korean person.“

“I'm not sure what others do to hate this place so much, but I go on a fairly consistent basis, and I've been over 10 times now within the last 3 years. Most recent was a few days ago on my birthday. Every server we've ever had has always been extremely nice. Maybe a bit of a language barrier sometimes, but nothing a little patience can't get through. The cost of everything is insanely high right now, so the fact I can eat as much as I want of ANYTHING for under $50 is a pretty good deal in my opinion. What finally made me leave a review now, is that it makes me sad to see such nasty reviews, as my most recent experience was my favorite. Their kimchi is my favorite, and when we were done ordering meat, we asked if we could yet just a little more kimchi, I told her because it's the best ? she said of course, and brought over an entire chunk, cut it right in front of us, and put some in containers for us to take home. It was so sweet, and as minor as it may sound, it really made my day. That being said, if you're turned off by the prices, or don't have the patience to take a little extra time to communicate with someone, save them your attitude and go somewhere else.“

“We loved the first dining experience and kept coming back drove about 30 minutes just to enjoy the flavors. But recently the price has increased and the quality of the chicken has reduced. I remember we ordered boneless with all white meat and now they are mixed and to be honest I don't like the taste of the boneless anymore, they are like not real meat or not well cooked which is unlikely if the claim was true 360 degree frying and timed by the robotic arms. Everytime we spent between $80 - $170 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Although we still like the unique flavors but with the price, the quality and the portion we don't think we might visit again.“
