“Went last night with two friends for my birthday! I think our chef said his name was Gino! He was great and our waitress and the food was great! My only complaint was that the music was blaring so, we couldn't hear what anyone was saying and we really could even talk to each other!!! It took away from the experience since our chef was saying things that we couldn't hear. I did ask three different staff members if they could lower it to no avail. We don't think we will go back there again! We had to keep asking our waitress to repeat herself and that got to be exhsusting😣“

“Such a nice place, my friend loves this place and wanted to show us and wow I am so glad she did. I ordered the shoyu ramen and it was absolutely amazing!! They have so many options in the menu it took us a while to decide. Our server was so nice, she remembers her regulars and was very attentive to our table and making sure we enjoyed our meal! Inside was super cute, great spot for lunch/ dinner. (I also have a peanut, tree nut, and shellfish allergy which they were able to accommodate :) )“

“Great Korean food. They were a bit understaffed when we went so there was a bit of a wait on food or getting the check but nothing the staff could have done about it with 1 server and the sushi chef covering as a second. I hope they can find someone to fill in because the food is worth coming back for. Prices are a little on the high side but you won't find Korean food like this around here anywhere else. Definitely recommend giving them a shot, just probably best if you're not in a rush to get somewhere afterwards.“

She seemed to be higher up in the ranks (her name is Susan maybe?), and she is a wonderful, honest woman and an overall pleasure to converse with. It is a very cozy, traditional style place in terms of aesthetics. The sushi is really delectable too, the fish is high quality. The desserts were delicious as well. Will be sure to come back soon!“

“The food is clean and has flavor but most of the time it gets too you 10-20 minutes earlier than when they tell you and your veggies are not cooked all the way through. As you eat you are crunching away on all the veggies. You need to take the time and cook everything and not worry about the time it gets to the person that orders. All in all a nice/clean spot.“

“I have never left a review so quickly!! First timer and did pickup. O m g. This is the best, freshest Chinese food I’ve ever had. Any other place you cut open the chicken and it GRAY. This was white meat chicken. My husband got sushi and said it was phenomenal. The restaurant itself is spotless and the woman behind the counter was so friendly. Absolutely will be back.“

“The food was fantastic and the entertainment was great. I had a lobster and shrimp dish which had such great flavor. The blend of the vegetables was so tasty and melted in my mouth. When I mentioned entertainment I referred to the chef, who had a sense of humor while he prepared our food. He made our dinner most enjoyable. I certainly would return to the restaurant and encourage friends to try it.“

“Was here recently for a colleague’s birthday party. They rented a private room with food + bottle service. Off street parking was definitely a huge plus. The staff was very attentive, and the overall atmosphere of the place seemed pretty chill. My only critique is the karaoke interface is not very intuitive, and the selection for ACTUAL karaoke/instrumental tracks are very limited because they only use Spotify for the music. It’s more like a sing-along than karaoke. I would suggest using youtube instead of spotify because YouTube’s selection of music for karaoke is far superior. Other than that, the place is great!“

“It was my first time here, and I loved everything I had to eat that I ate. I was so full I did leave a little bit of food. I generally don't like to waste anything but was very little left really no reason to take home. There is a lot of variety and selection to try. The staff were very polite and very nice and felt like a friendly environment it was an enjoyable, pleasant experience. Really love what they did with the space and truly excited for the addition of the bar so that we can enjoy their great custom cocktails with newtown's best sushi. The food is obviously still on point but beware of their penicillin drink! With their in-house pressed ginger and bitters, holy crap they are dangerously delicious! Love the upgraded esthetic and vibe at Oishi! Oh and lastly i love that they brought over some of the korean menu items like boa buns and crispy korean fried chicken from their other spot Omiza ?
