“I think they were short staffed when we went, we were kind of forgotten about for awhile. It took about 20 minutes before getting our drink order. Also they took awhile to get our dinner order after the appetizers were well past consumed.The food is good and the staff was kind, even if a bit slow when we were there.One bizarre thing that I feel should be pointed out, because I've never seen this anywhere else: inside the men's room there is a single stall for the toilet. 1 stall... with 2 toilets inside. There is only one door. Do you go in there together? Is someone supposed to knock while doing their business to let someone else in to have a pooping buddy? The atmosphere is sophisticated and feels very up scale.The food was fabulous in taste, portion, and visual appeal.I personally had shrimp and scallop teriyaki and it was stunning. The teriyaki was sweet and not pungent. The scallops were cooked to perfection. I was also very pleased with the shrimp shumai. I very much recommend this establishment. Their staff were very friendly and courteous. Our waiter was very diligent, knowledgeable, and above all kind. He had wonderful recommendations which did not disappoint. The chairs for dining in were comfortable and while the overall restaurant is small it didn't feel cramped.“

“This place deserves way more hype and attention. In my opinion they have the best food in town, also by far the freshest. I usually get the chicken hibachi meal. The chicken is always perfectly cooked, the veggies are so fresh, and the rice is just amazing. It comes with a salad and soup which are both outstanding. I've gotten sushi a few times too and they just impress me every single time. A true hidden gem. Every sauce I believe is homemade- and they do it perfectly. Honestly, I cannot recommend them enough. Also they gave us a crab salad sample last night...I don't usually like crab but WOW that was good! Thank you so much! I will come here forever.“

“Location a bit sketchy and there is not many seats inside but the sushi is good quality for its price point.The salmon roll is $10 at time of writing, slightly more expensive than nearby alternatives but seems to be expertly prepared.The braised pork belly buns are delicious and come with thick slabs of pork meat.The fried rice rolls appetizers are also quick good and does their job to stimulate the appetite.The cha shu ramen itself is slightly spicy and includes a sliced slab of corn which is an interesting choice, at first glance, it seems a bit like instant ramen but upon tasing the noodles are certainly higher quality than that of instant ramen. The eggs are hard boiled and reminiscent of soy sauced braised salty tea eggs, the broth is flavorful but nothing too special and the same can be said for the cha shu pork pieces. Overall 4/5. The ramen passable but the sushi is the main highlight of this place.“

I came towards the night my first time with my bf. wish I got my server's name but she was very attentive and encouraged me to try things in my dish i kept avoiding lol. We got gyoza which is made with chicken (big plus I avoid pork) spicy tuna roll, salmon teriyaki and the Gyu Don. Had to come again the same week. This time ordered the Fuki Spicy Miso Pork Ramen and replaced it with beef. Same server w/ a younger man, still a great time.“

“Decided to pay this spot a visit as part of NoLibs restaurant week, the $25 set dinner was quite worth the price. The set came with a sushi roll, entree, and mochi ice cream.Sushi roll options were somewhat limited and the actual rolls themselves were nothing special. I also ordered an add on spicy salmon roll but it looked nothing like what I’m used too. Instead of a mashed salon paste, it was essentially a regular salmon roll with some spice added. Interesting choice to say the least.I got the shrimp teriyaki for the entree and the sauce was quite good, savory and sweet. The shrimp were slightly cold and overcooked though.The mochj cream was likely store bought, and clearly part of the restaurant week set as I cannot imagine paying more than $4-5 for a single piece of mochi.Overall, the decor of this place along with the ambient jazz music makes for a nice casual dining spot. Nothing fancy. The food can be decently good so I may give this place a shot again to try the other dishes.“
“I truly believe Ooka at Willow Grove tops a lot of high end sushi places. I have been coming for at least 15 years. It is always fresh, consistent with food and service. They make the BEST sauce for the Kumoto oysters in my opinion. Whenever I am close, I will always stop by. It’s a plus that they are BYOB, an excellent place to meet your friends and colleagues.“
“I went here with a crew of 6 to celebrate a special day, and it was a really good experience! By no means am I a sushi expert, but I am not a newcomer either and to me it was pretty great experience, especially the tempura shrimp on the mango shrimp roll.. We ordered the Party Platter D which came with 64 pieces total comprised of Alaska roll, tuna avocado roll, california roll, spicy tuna roll, sweet potato roll, tiger roll, mango shrimp roll, and creamy crab roll. The mango in the mango shrimp roll was also a welcomed change of flavors. Lots of options. We ended up getting one of the family meals that really satisfied our group's stomachs and wallets. Generally it is a little expensive, but it's a local establishment that also doesn't have a liquor license to bring in easy revenue. On that note, this is a BYOB restaurant, which is pretty neat, allowing you to save even more on your overall price if you plan on drinking. I wonder if they would be willing to warm your sake for you? My only food recommendation (which I communicated to the open and friendly guy at the counter, is that the spicy tuna wasn't very spicy. Maybe now it will be spicier if they've had similar complaints since the time I went--probably 5 months ago at this point. Otherwise, my only other complaint is just that it's a small place--about 8 spots at the stylish wood sushi bar, and two picnic style tables that can seat 5 if you pull up a chair, so it might be a little tough to find a spot if you're going out with a crew.“

We could not find anyone that was open for dine-in. We arrived around 3pm after much searching and they were sweet and so kind.
