“Ever since Beawon went out of business we’ve been looking for a good Korean BBQ restaurant, and now we’ve found it. Pleasant atmosphere, good size portions, and the quality of the food is incredible. The staff is pleasant and attentive. Our party of 8 was seated right away and we had a very enjoyable meal. We’ll definitely be back.“
“Great local K BBQ spot. Not fancy but family run. Our young serve Jack was great and had good recommendations. The LA short ribs were perfect and not too sweet. The fried rice was good, especially with the addition of some kimchi. Would like to go back and try other items on the menu. Clientele on a weekday evening were all Korean which is a good sign.“
“My friend had a craving for Korean food so we tried August Moon. We had a wonderful experience. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. My friend and I shared the vegetable pa chun, soon do boo, and bulgogi. The cook and spice was on point. We left feeling completely stuffed and satisfied.“
“Been eying this place up during my stay at Einstein Montgomery. Finally decided to give it a try because they offer free stuff if you "Share / Review" and I loved the way they make their chicken.. Its unique and tasty!Give it a try is my suggestion!“
“I've been to this place several times and it is consistently delicious and fresh. The service is also quite good. The Bulgogi, spicy pork, mandoo dumplings, bibimbap are delicious and I've tried them a couple times. This place also has karaoke which I'd love to come back and try with friends. Good place to come with a group and have a great experience. Very Covid friendly because many tables have exhaust fans.“
“Wow, as authentic as a hole in the wall ever was. Came on a slow Wednesday evening and was treated great (as opposed to that guy's review about visiting on a Sunday). Our table was the only one with English first speakers, so this place is legit. Price seems a little high at first, but it comes with eight different side dishes and large portion main courses. I can't wait for another business trip to come back and try more of the menu.“
“Takes a bit long to have your food but their Soy Garlic Wings always come out hot, crunchy, crispy and delicious!Been coming here since the earlier days and is definitely way better than bonchon. Definitely worth the wait. One thing they could improve is to provide a little more tissues. It can get messy with these flavorful wings!“
“Recently had dinner here and can’t wait to come back!! They had so many options, which we tried a lot of them, and they were all really good! The staff was extremely nice! Our waiter took time to explain to us the marinates and also how to eat it! Definitely will be coming back!!“
“It's a food court style. You order up front and sit down. Once the remote buzzes, you get your food. They have 5 items on the menu, and everything we've tasted so far is amazing. 돈까스 is big, 순대국, 돼지국밥, and 설렁탕 are amazing. My husband loves their kimchi. It's really good.“
“Out of all the rice cake I’ve had I love this places style so much, mild spice and the udon + the rice cake is perfect. So thankful we are blessed with little gems like this even outside of big cities. May they prosper forever and continue to make wonderful food.“
“Food was rock solid. They do spicy if you like spicy. We were there with a large party (many children) and they were very accommodating. Towards the end of the evening, we had the entire back room to ourselves. So nice. The crispy chicken and pork were excellent as was the kimchi soup. The dumplings were really great as well.I got this dish that was really two dishes in one, served in a bifurcated dish to keep them separate. One side was black noodles and they were GOOD.Family style is the best way to eat here.Reasonably priced. We got out of there for about$25/head all-in.Parking: Parking lot out frontKid-friendliness: The place is noisy so the kids blend right inWheelchair accessibility: No stairs in this place.“
“Food was tasty and a good value. Staff were very nice. Looks can be deceiving when looking at the restaurant from the outside. It looks like the building used to be an old American dinner that’s a little beat up but once you enter you will be greeted by a clean restaurant with clothed tables and chairs. However you can still see some of the old diner inside so it conflicts with the Korean accents. Obviously not a deal breaker but I hope they invest for a modern remodel.“
