It had been a while since having the opportunity to eat at Long John Silvers and when we moved my son into his apartment, was looking forward to some classic fish and chips. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The fish was falling apart greasy, the hush puppies were small and chewy and the fries were just okay. So... this is one of those reviews I struggle to write... Long John Silver's is a dying brand, which is a crying shame. I will say our order took a while to come out -- which isn't that surprising. 3pm on a Sunday isn't exactly Prime Time for fried fish fast food. The other side of that coin is that our food was incredibly fresh. This is the one and only Long John Silvers close to me and I hope it never goes away.The fried fish, shrimp and all their menu items are delicious and a great change from other fast food restaurants. The hush puppies are a must. The restaurant is well stocked with condiments and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food comes out hot and fresh….
