Rachel worked with me on deciding on what would fit my budget and spent time wrapping all of them with a thank you sticker on the back for me to pick up later on. “Here is the thing. Google says they open at 10:30, which is only technically correct. They are serving food at around 10:50-11 am when the chicken is cooked, and are ready for all food by 12 pm the latest. This is actually a great thing, you know going in all of the food is fresh. The cooking smells bleed out into the gas station parking lot and are truly fantastic.With that important disclaimer out of the way, this is the best halal food you can find in the Landsdale/North Wales area by far. Both sauces are great of course, and the salad they serve with their rice platters is fresh and cuts through the spice if you're like me and order extra hot sauce. Their chicken is the only chicken I have actually enjoyed from a halal food establishment. The guys at the counter are super friendly.

Vegetarian options: Falafel is amazing and everyone should try it.

Parking: The parking lot is the same as the Exxon, and while the owners are pretty understanding I felt uncomfortable taking up a space while I ate my food. This food is best eaten straight off the griddle but taking it home might be more accessible.“

“I live an hour and 10 minutes from this area however, my daughter and her husband live a mile away. I love getting away and going to different places and I’ve been here three times, last night on the rooftop which was extremely interesting and fun. Today my daughter had to work so I came by myself to order food to take home and once I got here I just was enjoying myself so much at the bar so I ordered a few drinks and ate my food here bc Ashley was a just a gem and took care of me. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is amazing it’s a great place.“

“New to this place. My son and I stopped by for breakfast, and we were surprised by the menu. Kinda different. It had the usual fare and some that were not. Considering we always get the norm, we opted for their style. Costa Rica, I believe. I had the cowboy burrito, and my son had the brisket omelet. Platting was very nice. The food was good. But it was a bit too complex for breakfast. Halfway through, I was tempted to ask for something more to my expectations for breakfast. Next time. The place is very clean. Bathrooms, too. Nice service. It's a bit pricey, though. 2 coffees, a soda, and meals were $36 before tip.“

“Is the price worth the taste? $17 cheesesteak with fried onions and American cheese (not standard cooper sharp) as I’m old school, all on a seeded roll. Pound for pound, you are getting some fantastically seasoned steak, and a lot of it!
Listen, people are going to say what their favorite steak shop is, this one is close to my house, but I’d still travel to Dalessandro’s , but this place is pretty much just as, if not better than Dalessandro’s. It’s a pricey sandwich, and I think it comes out to the same amount of 2 Dalessandro’s sandwiches, so there’s that statistical difference.

I ate half, split with my wife, and hulled out the other, then filled a Pyrex 7 cup bowl as seen in the picture, and that’s a lot! I have to say the this place edges out Dalessandro’s because you can sit down and eat at the tables or counter. Dalessandro’s used to have a space to eat inside, but since COVID, have not reopened it which is a shame. I have not had a pizza from this place , but I will.“

Tonight a meal was missed in our order and I called to let them know we were coming to get it. The person that answered the phone was very apologetic and offered to deliver it. “The Whitpain Tavern is my go to neighborhood bar and restaurant. Great food, friendly employees and some of the best cocktails out there. The bar has it's share of regulars and it is always fun to go in, have a drink and talk with everyone at the bar. Tina who works behind the bar during the day is one of the best bartenders out there. Friendly, attentive, remembers her customer's names and knows her craft. Pat and Alex the owners are hands on, there every day and take pride in their establishment. Two super nice people that get to know their customers. The Whitpain is like my Cheers and I look forward to my visits there each week.“

“Have been going to the Chick-fil-a in Quakertown and Lansdale and as eat-in diners have had the feeling of being very low priority. They are focused on their drive-thru and take out business. This one in Montgomeryville was GREAT!! Super service and when the food came an additional little pack of a hand wipe and mint was included per person. What a nice gesture! Definitely will be stopping there again as we felt welcome and appreciated as customers that is sadly lacking at the other “drive-thru” locations!“
