“If you’re down on your luck it’s a great place to live. Jeep Cherokee has been living here for 2yrs. An rv has been here for about a year and nobody bothers you. This morning there were 8 cars that have been living there for the last week. No police activity and if they do come they are just here to say hello. They have informed that Cracker Barrel doesn’t have a problem with it so enjoy an extended stay. YOU DON’T EVEN NEED TO SPEND A DOLLAR INSIDE. Throw trash on ground and the neighbors will pick it up Free living with no consequences. We travel with a camper trailer and have done overnights in our trailer but this is an abuse of the kindness of Cracker Barrel. These people are living here rent free. Neighbors don’t know who these people are“

“My husband and I stopped in for the first time for a quick lunch and I was instantly impressed with the adorable decor and setup. We were greeted by such friendly staff! We both got a few hot dogs to go and some chips (the good kind!). After eating them I knew I'd be back as they were delicious. Will for sure be bringing our kids next time as well!“

“Madeline's is a great, affordable choice if you're looking for a lovely venue for a special event! We held our wedding ceremony and reception (for 60 guests, but they can accommodate more) in the restaurant’s upstairs banquet facility. From the start of planning to the day of the wedding, both event coordinators provided incredible attention for every detail of the event: the timing and setup of the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and a special private area for the bride. The banquet facility is wheelchair-accessible, spacious, and has plenty of natural light. There’s also an outside terrace. We had a number of guests with different dietary preferences and needs, including one with severe food allergy concerns. The coordinators were especially understanding of this. Before we chose a menu or signed a contract, they made a special effort to contact the guest with food allergies, and asked specific questions to be sure the menu and venue would be safe. They helped us to feel confident that there wouldn’t be any problems from the allergens of concern, and they worked closely with us on a creative menu that everyone would enjoy. The food was superb! Both event coordinators were present on the day of the event. Everything ran smoothly, and we and our guests really enjoyed it! The entire staff was courteous and attentive, and it was a joyful, memorable day. We look forward to going back for dinner!“

“Had an appointment in the area so we stopped for breakfast. This place! It reminds me of when diner food was good good. We both got the fantastic 5, hubs got it with French toast, I got pancakes. The pancakes are huge and fluffy and delicious. Home fries were awesome and cooked perfect. Eggs and bacon done just right and even accommodated a special request to add on the blueberry compote. The coffee is pretty solid too.

This place isn't far from home, and we have few diners / breakfast places closer, but if I'm craving breakfast, I'm going to make the drive over here.
They also have daily breakfast specials which is awesome.“

“I have an allergy to rare beef. As a result I usually do not order red meat as I prefer it rare. Wert’s Cafe burgers are so good, moist and juicy, even when cooked well done. Delicious and very reasonably priced food. You can’t go wrong! Wert’s is the Best!“

“Out of all the eateries in the greater Slatington area, SMT has got to be the highest of my recommendations. the place is absolutely fantastic, in both food and service. Not only is it a rustic bar complete with trivia nights and a pool table, but everything is delicious and always served with the highest priority of the customer's requests. We loved it so much we went back for brunch on Sunday before we left town. The host remembered us when we came in, he welcomed us back. The brunch was sensational! “We started out at another what is supposed to be an upscale and reputable establishment for a 5:30pm reservation made for my husband's birthday. What a disappointment that was as we were made to wait passed our reservation and received a less than pleasureable attitude from the hostess. After several inquiries about our table we observed several other parties walk in and get seated right away. We had enough and decided to go elsewhere. This is when we came to Applebee's. What a breath of fresh air. We were seated immediately by smiling and gracious staff. We were served by Rey who turned our frown upside down. What a wonderful server. Rey was gracious, thoughtful, courteous and helpful with food suggestions. Rey made our whole experience a wonderful one even going above and beyond by celebrating my husband's birthday with a surprise super delicious dessert. We could not have asked for a better outcome from what started out as a disaster. Kudos to Applebee's and their staff. We will definitely be back.“

“Will not being going back after my husband and I recent visit. After being seated and waiting more than 15 minutes to be waited on while a waitress walked by us twice ignoring us and two other couples came and were seated near us and were waited on right away, we walked out! No one said a word. Another turn off, there obsessed with vacuuming and sweeping the floor. Yes l like a clean restaurant but not vacuuming or sweeping done by our table while were trying to have a peaceful meal and dust blowing around in the air. Wont be going back.“
