“Joey B's is arguably the best place in Palmerton. Great food, great drinks, awesome staff.

We make the trip from Easton semi-regularly to meet up with friends and it's never once been a negative experience.

“Wonderful venue for a party. Just had a surprise 90th luncheon birthday party for my mom with 66 guests. The food, staff and management were great. They were so accommodating to our needs. So many of the guests said how much they enjoyed the food and they would definitely stop in for lunch or dinner again. I highly recommend the Pub for dinner or booking a private party. Jeff ànd his staff are top notch!“

Me and my SO agreed these are THE best fries we've ever had. Perfectly cooked fresh cut fries. Do yourself a favor and get them.

And service was beyond friendly, even though they were pretty busy for a Friday everything was what you would want in a meal.“

“This is literally the best ice cream I've ever tasted. I'm here for the weekend, but I've already told my wife I want us to drive the two and a half hours it takes to get here from our house because the ice cream is just that good! Major props to the little lady that was so kind and patient with us old guys. Had to leave her a good tip and then we all ate outside looking out at this massive mountain while listening to classic 80's tunes. It was hands down one of the most relaxing things I've done in a while. I'm definitely coming back!“

“Anyone who's visiting from a different area is probably familiar with the concept of "Pocono Food". One Ten isn't Pocono Food, it's great food for any area. Food this quality wouldnt be out of place in any major city. Been vacationing in areas roughly around Mt Pocono for decades and this was the first restaurant I really wanted to go back to. Owner or chef has an obsession with pickles, but what they do with em is great. Also pretty great prices!“

The chimichanga is huge, full of meat and delicious! The owner gave me a chicken empanada and also would recommend it. Full of meat from corner to corner and very flavorful.The best in the area! The tres leches dessert was also amazing!! Recommended 100%. Excellent service and delicious and fresh food!! Thanks for the amazing treatment!!“

“Fun place to grab appetizers and a drink or dinner & a drink or two. We had an app and dinner. Cheesesteak eggs rolls as an appetizer. We were told they are made in house - not frozen - and we could tell! Deliciously thin crispy shell stuffed with tender beef, onions and a little cheese served with a spicy dipping sauce. A terrific starter!!! I had the Elote Salad and my hubbers had the turkey burnt ends BLT. Both were really tasty! We were both very happy with our meals!

Seating is ALL bar seating on backless stools. Not super comfy but we also weren’t spending the night so it was fine for us - just mentioning so you are aware in case there are people in your party who might not appreciate this seating style for a meal.

We would recommend Notch Eight for a very good meal and drinks!“

“Fun restaurant with random nicknacks everywhere. Your eyes will wander around the whole time you are there. A cute dog is the official greater. The food was decent enough that I would come back while in town. The frozen party drinks served in over sized cups hit the spot. My daughter loved her pasta and chicken wings, the wife was happy with her salmon with baked potato, and I ordered the ribs and actually liked it better than the past few times I've ordered ribs at random establishments that offer it. Chocolate cake and berry pie were enjoyable. If busy the gentleman that was working there is definitely hustling and doing his best to keep up. So be patient. Enjoy.“

“The other reviewer is right...the beer is cold! Rarely do I ever get served a Coors Light bottle as cold as it is at the American Hotel. The bartender Kat is so easy going and down to earth and exemplifies what a bartender should be like. Great service from her, good wings (I always get the butter, garlic, parm), cheap beers, and the atmosphere is so laid back--locals just having a drink and socializing. The interior is old school which I love and the vibes are really positive. This is the only bar I frequent in town. No bars in Lehighton, Jim Thorpe, Brodheadsville compare. Cool place. Good people. “We were on vacation nearby during Memorial weekend and passing Weissport. This was when we stumbled upon this cute little ice cream shop. The tables inside are chalkboards, great for kids and adults. There is also a piano that people can play some impromptu tunes. We liked it.“
