“I was just passing through town and honestly didn’t expect to find a spot like this. Seeing a big Southern Italian last name on the sign immediately caught my attention, so I had to stop in, and I’m glad I did.
This is a genuinely authentic Italian-American place with that warm feel that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. I ordered a capocollo-ham sandwich with provolone, lettuce, tomato, and Italian dressing. Fresh ingredients, well made, and very satisfying. I also tried the garlic knots, something I always judge Italian places by, and they were very good. Fresh, soft, and flavorful. If I had one tiny suggestion, I’d say a little extra garlic wouldn’t hurt, but that’s just personal preference.
The spinach stromboli was excellent. Fresh, clearly house made dough, and exactly what you hope for. I finished with cannoli, and they were absolutely on point. Small, authentic, and delicious.
I also loved that they had all the little extras that make a place feel real. Cookies, jars of pickled garlic and peppers. specialty items, packaged pasta to take home. The whole atmosphere just felt welcoming and genuine.
A really pleasant surprise in a town where I wasn’t expecting much. Definitely worth stopping if you appreciate authentic Italian-American food.
One fun suggestion: add a Nutella stromboli to the menu. If you do, naming it “The Stefano” would only be fair. 😄“

“Fantastic pizza. I wanna say the best I’ve had west of Jersey if you eat it fresh. Only been here twice so far but blown away both times at the quality of the subs and pizza. Crispy crust, perfectly cooked cheese, and the perfect amount of sauce. Would 100% recommend grabbing a seat at the nice park across the road and eating it right away. It’s still great even if you gotta let it cool down a bit, but that’s the best way to have it.“

“I loved everything about this place. It's been a long time since I've been so completely satisfied with a pizza place experience, and everything about this one was so incredibly perfect. We ordered the spinach Italiano and I highly recommend it. The entire pizza was cooked golden brown yet not over or under done, just absolute perfection. This place really hit the spot.“

“I had a “user error” doing an online order and didn’t discover it until I picked up my order. Everyone I spoke to was so nice and very accommodating, even though I really believe I was the one that made the mistake. They rushed the rest of my order and when I got home it was perfect. “Pizza Joe's has the best pepperoni rolls you can find in town. Mangino's has a good pepperoni roll, but pizza Joe's is far better. I don't prefer the pizza though. They use high quality ingredients, but I just don't enjoy the sauce. It tastes over-seasoned to me. Give their pizza a shot though. The veggie pizza is noteworthy.“

“This is the best NY Pizza style shop in the area. Far better than Scottos, Aldo's and Pizza's man. Got 2 pizzas, 1 with pepperoni and a pepsi all for under $30. Most of these NY pizza shops sell PA slop at NYC prices. This place is great.“

“I was nervous because the reviews were bad. But my order was superb and the driver was friendly and polite. The pizza was cooked perfectly, with tons of pepperoni.
