“It’s my first time here. The place is nice, with unique decorations unlike a typical bar. The beer menu is displayed on the wall, and the cocktail menu is on paper. It’s small but cool. You’ll need to find street parking nearby. A great spot to grab a beer and try different flavors!“

“I absolutely love this place, I've been here many times, and it never disappoints. From taking the distillery tour to attending special events, I keep finding new reasons to come back. The outdoor fire pits create the perfect evening atmosphere to enjoy one of their signature cocktails, and the tented area with string lights and live music adds a wonderful touch to the experience. The food is consistently high quality, which just adds to the appeal. I truly can’t recommend Eight Oaks enough!“

“What an amazing discovery for anyone with food sensitivities and allergies! Our meals were exceptional. The drinks top notch. The staff amazing(shout out especially to Holly and her handcrafted shrubs!) The only reason I was willing to leave Jim Thorpe was because I had a loaf of wonderful to take home and toast for breakfast Monday morning. Looking forward to our next visit to town even more now!“

“On the way to Becky’s Drive In we discovered this restaurant. I can’t express how much we loved it. The wait staff were attentive, caring and informative on specials and menu items. The draft list was extensive, including local favorites as well as seasonal specials. There is a whole candy bar dedicated to toppings for their cocktails and sangria flights(love). I had the rosemary French onion soup & sriracha ranch chicken wings with local honey added to the sauce. The soup was hands down the best I have ever had and the wings were cooked perfectly and coated in sauce. I loved my time here!“

“This bar is like 2 miles off of main St in Palmerton. Looks like a converted house from outside but inside is very nice even cozy. Service was excellent and food was good place was clean. Ordered a burger and it was good, I did not order the wings but people next to me did and they looked and smelled delicious. Would definitely return“

“Just past the Curiosities Coffee and Ice House, you will find this wonderful place. I stopped in for the mead, but they have wine as well. I was greeted by a wonderful young lady that explained everything about the mead.

The samples were the perfect size to get a taste and savor the flavor. They have oyster crackers to clear your palate before the next sample. After the tasting, I picked up a couple bottles for home.“

“My boyfriend & I stopped by today & we had an amazing experience. We were visiting from out of town & Abby the bartender was so cool. We were introduced to the orange cosmopolitan that was delicious! Then she made me a hot apple cider with fireball with a cinnamon stick! It was so good... Just what I needed to warm up ... “To be honest, their cooking is delicious the service is straightforward and kind. Also, the atmosphere is very homey with nice art, a fire place and comfortable seating. The prices are reasonable too! I got the chicken on a stick and the chicken is sooooo tender, juicy and is so easy to eat. The seasoning is delicious! I highly recommend this place to get great food.“

“Great spot, with a huge all-weather deck; we had to eat on the sidewalk at one of 3 tables because we had the dog with us. A hot day in March brought ALL the people out so it was busy as heck at 3:00 pm. The big pluses were meeting the owners which were so amazingly friendly, and our server was sweet as apple pie. Good solid pub/bar food and a fun atmosphere. Cozy little bar. Fish & chips and Reuben were very nice.“

“Fun restaurant with random nicknacks everywhere. Your eyes will wander around the whole time you are there. A cute dog is the official greater. The food was decent enough that I would come back while in town. The frozen party drinks served in over sized cups hit the spot. My daughter loved her pasta and chicken wings, the wife was happy with her salmon with baked potato, and I ordered the ribs and actually liked it better than the past few times I've ordered ribs at random establishments that offer it. Chocolate cake and berry pie were enjoyable. If busy the gentleman that was working there is definitely hustling and doing his best to keep up. So be patient. Enjoy.“

“The hot and sour soup we ordered yesterday was excellent! It had numerous interesting bits of vegetables, tofu, chicken, and was flavored and spiced just right. The one thing that would bring it closer to my personal preference is if it had a little less thickener. I'm looking forward to our next order.“
