“Just went for the first time this evening after reading many reviews on Google, and I have to say there is a reason they have such high ratings! My family of four all had nothing but GREAT things to say about our dinner! My husband got a steak fajita burrito (that was literally the size of his head), and the flavor was so good (I'm definitely stealing those leftovers), I got the chile relleno, it came with two very good-sized peppers that filled the whole plate and the flavor was great and the pepper was cooked well, also. My daughters (picky eaters) both got chicken quesadillas. One got the kids' size, and the other got the adult potions, and honestly, the kids one would've fed them both. Everyone went home with leftovers (im happy i dont need to make lunch tomorrow!), and we're all sad we're so full because we wanted to keep eating. We're already making dinner plans with friends for next weekend to return! Our waitress was so attentive and answered any questions we had and never let any drinks get close to being empty before offering a refill. Another really awesome thing is our bill was less than $60! For a family of four all getting their own meals, drinks, and an appetizer, that really is an amazing deal for the really great fresh tasting food we all received! If you're even slightly thinking about going here, just do it. If you slightly think you might want mexican food, just do it. My only regret is that we didn't try here sooner!“

“Gettysburg is fortunate to be home to so many great Mexican Restaurants. That said, El Sangarito is hands down my favorite. The tacos are incredible and their quesadilla is the size of a medium pizza loaded with the meat of your choice, peppers, onions, avocado, and with a side of their salsa and sour cream. Their burrito makes Chipotle pale in comparison in terms of its size and flavor. The only downsides are the very limited seating and you have to walk through a laundromat to get to it. Still, you're doing yourself a disservice if you let that deter you from this authentic cuisine.“

“The food was excellent. The service was friendly & fast. Atmosphere wise it has a small dining area -- a very small dining area. But, as my Dad used to say, "You can't eat the atmosphere." If you want tasty, authentic food, this is the place to go.“

“I am in love!! I totally forgot about it being a restaurant because I got side tracked with the candy and spices. It was neat seeing such different items in a small shop. I will def be back to try the food. I read reviews just now saying the food is good. See you all soon!“

“The food was great, the service was friendly and the place is very clean. I had the quesabirria and guacamole with chips. Both delicious. I will definitely return on my next visit to Gettysburg. Parking at the garage on racehorse alley is $1 per hour.“

“Our third time and each time more impressive than the last. Jessica and Chris have done an incredible job of making this restaurant a warm inviting and delicious place to eat entertain and enjoy. And the cooks Carlos and Flor blew us away with their expertise. Sit at the bar if you can and watch the magic unfold. Highlights were the salad, the short rib pasta and the Ragú. And the chocolate ice cream. Oh my.“

“We spent a lot of time at the outlets requiring us to eat lunch and dinner. After xhexking out the pizza place for lunch, I needed some Mexican food instead. We had always seen this shop but never got a chance to order. I decided to order a vegetarian quesadilla and my kids got tortilla chips and salsa and also a side of guacamole. Not a single thing tasted short of outstanding. My kids generally hate Mexican food, not sure why, but they started to eat my quesadilla and eventually took it from me. I don't blame them, it was fantastic. The guacamole is freshly made to order and the salsa didn't taste generic. The chips were good, maybe a little too much salt, but that is me nitpicky. My wife wanted to order the enchiladas but since we are vegetarian, we ask about whether the beans have pork or if the rice has chicken stock but unfortunately the cooks wither couldn't understand the question or know the answer. That won't stop me from coming back for another quesadilla however. Wow, one of the best I've ever had.“

“This is my second time trying The Mexican Food Truck… absolutely delicious! They’re located in Littlestown, PA but will some times make a stop in Fairfield, Pa. Which is a little closer to home for me.I got their steak burrito with a side of beans and rice. Now, normally I’m not a huge red sauce fan. I prefer green sauce. But they make their own red sauce and it’s FANTASTIC!! Beans are flavorful and not overly salty (happens sometimes at other restaurants, but they know their flavor ratios!) and the rice is cooked perfectly!Definitely some of the most authentic Mexican food you can get around here!!“
