Great ice cream and staff was awesome!
Went to Carmen's for the first time today. Ice cream selection is ok but kinda limited. My guy and I both got 1 scoop and noticed they have a small, discreet, notice near the the register that they charge an additional 4% if using a card. I planned on using cash so proceeded with the order. However, AFTER getting our ice cream they tell us "we can't accept cash today." No sign, no reason, just cuz. The staff here was fantastic! Friendly and eager to help us out. Unfortunately the quality of the ice cream left much to be desired. My chocolate shake was very icy and not creamy at all as it melted it turned watery with little flavor. My girl got two scoops in a waffle bowl with what was supposed to be hot fudge but ended up being hersheys syrup and whip cream. The toppings were pretty sparse on the ice cream.
