“Had the boiled dumplings, an egg roll, sesame chicken, and chicken with broccoli. The dumplings were fresh and delicious. The chicken had a slight crispy texture and a perfect, mild orange flavor. The chicken and broccoli had tender chicken in a flavorful white sauce with well-cooked, fresh broccoli. We were looking for a “go to” Chinese restaurant. I think we have found it.“

“I was very pleased with our experience. Price was reasonable, we ordered to go, crab ragouns( idk if I spelled that correctly) some common dishes along them. Everything was delicious, it was fast but not to fast if you know what I mean. Very good and would recommend to anyone.“

“I was a little disappointed when I arrived and found out that the restaurant was no longer serving buffet-style meals. However, the incredible hospitality from the staff and owner completely made up for it. They were extremely welcoming, friendly, and attentive. And the food? Absolutely amazing! The vegetables were fresh and full of flavor, the meat was incredibly tender, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. But the real highlight for me was the hot and sour soup! If you’re like me and are a true fan of hot and sour soup, you absolutely have to try theirs. It is, without a doubt, one of the best I’ve ever had. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve had better hot and sour soup anywhere else! I came in expecting a buffet and left discovering a restaurant I would happily come back to. Definitely worth a visit!“

“The best place i have found for Chinese food in the area and surrounding areas. Have been going since I was little and have never had a bad meal.

Prices are great and i do not believe gone above what you should pay for good food.

Used to love eating im but they have since gone to pick up only. Wish they would go back to dine in but either way I still enjoy their food.

“Best Chinese food in the area. Consistency is key and Great Wall has it in both quality and quantity of food. I always order online and when I go into the store to pick up my order, the phone is ringing off the hook and several people are in the store placing orders. It’s a true testament to how popular their food is. The staff works incredibly hard, no one ever stands still. It’s worth any wait you may have for your order.“

“People listen because I kid you not. NJ born and raised and a GenX’er that’s been living in NC for the past several years. My travels brought me close enough to Asian Yummy to DoorDash a large order of Hot & Spicy Mongolian Beef which was a whole platter by itself and came with the large Qt container of white rice which I changed to Beef Fried Rice, and I ordered a separate large Qt of Beef Fried Rice, Hella Hot Mustard packets, Soy Sauce, Duck Sauce etc. and Spring Rolls. I ate off of the order the next 3 days for three dinner meal times out here in the semi frig & microwave equipped 18-wheeler. And the past 2-3 months I’ve been OTR chasing, ordering the same at several different random Chinese Restaurants in all different cities and they’re giving me mild spicy beef with peppers and onions with rice all together in a single platter (smh) and for the price of the Hot & Spicy Mongolian Beef they’re all false advertising on their menus, as if I don’t know the difference. Asian Yummy has really set the bar high, and I’m actually going through cravings wanting my travels to again get me close enough to DoorDash from Asian Yummy again. The food is 50 Stars worth the price to me, and because I DoorDash and got it just the way I wanted, the service is 50 Stars. My food did take a little long to get made and arrive the Dasher told me because they were very full and busy with plenty of customers at the time, so that tells me that the atmosphere is very (Bussin’ aka All Good!) I’d like to imagine, yet my food arrived Hot and not cold or even lukewarm.“

“We get takeout via GrubHub from here at least once a month. The steamed dumplings are large, flavorful, and delicious. The General Tao’s chicken is spicy but bursting with flavor, and the crab rangoon are amazing. We’ve tried most of the Chinese restaurant on South York and none compare.“

“My favorite take out place in the York area. Food is always hot, fresh, and ready for pickup on time. I've been ordering from them for several years now and the food is always delicious! My family has made them a part of our holiday tradition of Chinese food for Christmas Eve dinner for more than the last five years. My personal favorites are the boneless ribs and the shrimp lo mein.“

“I have been here twice now and I LOVE the food, the honey chicken is second to none, delicious chicken and broccoli, the general tsos is YUM, egg rolls and the shrimp rolls are dynomite! I haven't ordered anything I didn't like ( I was not a huge fan of the bean sprouts in the rice, I am going to ask if they can be omitted next time ) But seriously happy to pick them out. “We've only lived in York for a year now. We decided to try Imperial Gourmet tonight. We are so glad we did! Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. There were plenty of options to choose from without being overwhelming. Everyrhing was clean and well stocked. We will definitely be back.“

“Our favorite place to eat! We dine in quite a bit the ladies know us well! As soon as we enter they know where we like to sit, they know we like a pot of tea and what condiments are favored. Everything we have tried has been delicious. We’ve tried many dishes but still have our favorites! Veggies are always crisp, protein always cooked well, soups are hot and egg rolls crispy without a puddle of grease. Presentation is well executed when you order an entree. “Typically don’t review places however I have a fear of buffets. I only go during the summer time when sickness isn’t rampant lol. The cleanliness was amazing, the food was fresh and hot. We went at peak supper time so that’s expected. Some people complain when they go at 3 in the afternoon and have cold food. Common sense is that the food isn’t going to be top notch during those hours. I’m glad I was able to enjoy a buffet today and appreciate how clean everything was. The lady taking plates was very attentive and handled our hyper kids amazingly. My only complaint and it’s mostly a “me” problem was the dessert selection. I’m quite a picky eater and there wasn’t a lot for me to choose from for my liking but nonetheless they were still tasty. I was sad about the lack of cream puffs though.“

“The chicken is usually great, but be careful with the sushi and seafood. It can smell bad sometimes. I think they should raise the price so they can improve the quality of the food. The chefs are great, but concern is the freshness of some of the food items.“

“They have definitely up their game! Yesterday (7/2/23) We ordered Shrimp with veg, veg got fresher, awesome, what’s even better is, RICE was cooked PERFECTLY!! Absolutely loved every bite of everything.Although I secretly wish they could change their pork supplier for fresher meat, and I usually prefer more white pepper in Chinese food, but I really can’t complain abt their chicken or seafood dishes , new improvement on freshness of veg, and perky-textured rice!Much love and appreciation for this place in the neighborhood!“
