“I've eaten here since before it was bought and transformed and let me tell you, they did an excellent job making this place look gorgeous!! I haven't had bad food there yet and the same goes for drinks. It's a little pricey, but a very nice place and worth the money. I highly recommend it!“
“This place is super adorable!! I came with a small appetite, so I ordered the French Onion Soup. The broth was delicious. However, there were so many croutons in the soup that it was hard to really enjoy it. The cheese on top, while delicious, was so thick that it was hard to eat/incorporate with the soup. I realize that may be some folks' cup of tea. I like a simpler, myself. The calamari was delicious, and my husband LOVED his fish and chips. The table was very sticky, but other than that, the place was darling.Parking: There are few spaces right next to the restaurant. There's a large overflow parking area behind the building that offers a nice walk over a stream.“
“A great gem of a restaurant tucked away in Landisville. We were greeted by Matt, who seated us and was our server. We discussed the cocktails and ordered. I had the steak tips sandwich and fries -- very good. I liked the mushrooms and Swiss cheese on the sandwich. The fries are batter dipped, but lightly. They were great, not greasy or soggy. My husband had Chicken Marsala over risotto. The flavor and texture were excellent. We will definitely return. The atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent. Thank you, Blue Collar Restaurant and Matt, for a great evening.“
“Nothing bad to say! Food was delicious and server was really nice. Seemed to be a few regulars coming and going and the staff talked with them like friends. That's a good place. I got the baked ziti and it was the best I've had in a long time.“
“We came here for our honeymoon! After traveling from Philly, we stopped in Lancaster and asked a local what food they recommend. This was their first pick and they did not disappoint! It looks small, but there is a lot of space inside! It was packed but still had loads of seats to choose from so we could sit around people or find somewhere secluded. There were so many families, it warmed my heart. Our server, Jordan, had great energy, was fast with refills and had so many great recommendations. Our food was hot, fresh, and legitimately the best food we have had in the entire honeymoon. I had the French onion panini and my husband had the crab cakes, and we split some onion rings with spicy crab soup. It blew us away, and they were just the sweetest group ever! If I settled here I know I would end up being one of those couples there every Saturday night because it is worth it!“
“This restaurant is located on the shores of the Susquehanna River. The views are awesome!!! We eat in the full service restaurant. My shrimp and grits were out of this world crazy good. Our service was attentive and they accommodated our desire to eat a slow paced dinner. There is a bar with live music and an outdoor bar with a casual menu... The pizza looked great. I will return here again.“
“Everything I've tried has been delicious and fresh. The only exception would be the steak. I've tried several dishes with steak (tortellini, tacos) and often the steak is chewy where you have to spit it out because you cant chew it.“
“We stopped in here after running some errands and were pleasantly surprised. We caught them at breakfast time and overall the service lacked nothing and was attentive. Eggs and bacon were good and beverage never got low and I never had to ask. The ambiance was probably the nicest I have ever seen when getting breakfast. Love the mid to the past and the connecting gift shop is great to gist especially if you have kids.“
“This is one of our regular breakfast location spots. Bring a jacket, especially on cold days because there seems no way to avoid the draft. Also, don't sit near the bar door because sometimes you smell smoke wafting in which is unpleasant. All of this said the wait staff is friendly and prompt. The menus are on the table. Sometimes the specials are fantastic but I'm a huge fan of their unique omelet menu. Huge fan of their taco omelet, which is just what it sounds like.“
“We had a large party here to celebrate my cousin and wife who came from England to visit and also celebrated my dad’s 94th birthday. We had all ages from 1 yo to 94 and the staff were helpful, gracious and very accommodating. The food was delicious! I especially loved the sweet potato fries to dip in maple syrup!“
“We had our wedding reception here and everyone (from 18 - 95 in age) raved about the food and the service. Thank you to all of the staff.Nearby activities: The Railroad House has room available for overnight stays. The restaurant/bar serves great food. The menu changes seasonally. The town of Marietta is quaint and full of charm. There is a nice riverside trail and the location is along the non-navigable section of the Susquehanna River. Great place to spot birds.Safety: The town is full of people born and raised in Marietta. They take great pride in their community.Walkability: The town has sidewalks throughout most of the town. Speed limit for cars is 25mph.Food & drinks: The menu is upscale and very good. Wonderful beer and cocktail selection. There are a number of eating establishments in town.
