I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jimmy’s both before and after it came under new ownership, and I can confidently say—it’s a whole new experience in the best way possible! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the positive changes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is genuinely friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious, clearly made with high-quality, fresh ingredients and plenty of care. One of the best surprises has been the amazing new daily specials the owners have introduced. Each day offers something unique and creative, showcasing seasonal flavors and inventive dishes that keep me excited to come back and try what’s next. It’s clear the new owners are passionate about great food and great service. Jimmy’s has quickly become my favorite go to breakfast spot, and I’m looking forward to seeing how they continue to shine!”

“Finally getting to writing reviews for the best few vendors from my August 2019 wedding. I am a little hesitant to post this since their Facebook page seems to have gone silent and reviews on other platforms indicate that management and menus may have changed in the last 6 months. But I was so pleased with my experience that it only seems fair to give credit where credit is due…. If you are looking for a rehearsal dinner location in Cranberry and have 30 guests or less, I highly recommend the private room at Ember and Vine in the lobby of the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry. We researched every restaurant in the area and Ember and Vine at DoubleTree delivered a perfect solution. Their facilities are beautiful and modern, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Although they can do traditional seated banquet-style meals, we wanted something distinctly different from our wedding dinner the following day. We chose to order off their regular restaurant menu and have them cordon off a portion of the lobby area next to the private room, where a buffet was placed with different flavors of wings, woodfired pizzas, salad, and their oh-so-yummy crispy brussels sprouts. Not only were they flexible with the setup and menu (accommodating multiple food allergies), they also provided the option to have a limited bar within the private room or have our guests use the full bar in the lobby. Having the private room but also the cordoned off lobby area gave us extra area to mingle and a great balance between private space and the fun energy and ambiance from the restaurant and bar. Our guests loved the food and had loads of fun! Other factors that made Ember and Vine a clear winner for us were: - They had a very low minimum spend. Other locations with private dining had a ridiculous minimum spend that would be difficult to meet with a 20-30 person guest list. - The large parking lot. We looked at other options closer to our venue and parking was limited. - Flexibility with timing. We gave them a general time frame for arrival, but not knowing how long the rehearsal would take, they told us just to call them when we were 20 minutes out. Thanks DoubleTree and Ember and Vine for a classy venue and excellent food that let my husband and me and our closest friends and family relax and have a great time before our big day!!”

“I go to this place often for lunch. Always a quick lunch regardless of how many people are there. The price is great, the service is great and the portions are great. Oh, and the food is great too. Best lunch deal in town. The place is always clean. I will continue to support this establishment!”

“Three cheers for this restaurant. My son and I went there for dinner, and let me tell you, it is a very nice place. We were seated by the hostess and handed the menus. I saw a catch of the day plate for $16. I pointed to it on the menu and asked our waitress if it was good. She said a lot of people were ordering it but she didn't taste it. My son and I both ordered it. It was very good. The bill came and it was $75. I showed it to the waitress and she said that the hostess must have given me the lunch menu by mistake. She left and came back with the corrected bill. Now, I'm sure this happens once in awhile. I have had other times that the bill was wrong. But they didn't give me a hard time to correct the bill. Actually on the amount of difference (dinner price was $28.95), I thought they would make a stink about it. But they were very cordial and we left with a very good feeling for this place. So, please go to this restaurant because they know how to make you happy when you come through thier front door.”

“Novel Breads is a small bakery that sells sourdough breads in flavors that I cannot find elsewhere. It also sells some gourmet foods from other businesses, some books, and some home decor.The baker-owner draws inspiration for her breads from books that she reads. The breads are available in several flavors and can be specially ordered. Each loaf of bread costs about several dollars.I purchased the following six breads: Milk Buds, Gentleman’s Black Bread, Roasted Garlic Bread, Chocolate Babka, Roasted Orange Martini Bread, and Pesto Italiano. These loaves were a good size, were freshly baked, and tasted very good.Please note that this bakery has limited hours, and it is located on the side of the professional building.”

Favorites of ours are the filet, roast chicken, charred Brussel sprouts, salmon, hummus, and the seasonal pumpkin soup. Always busy, and rightfully so, reservations are recommended”

“It. Doesn't. Get. Much. Better. Than. This!!! Dented Keg do a fantastic job creating their unique flavors that satisfy a wide range of tastes. I got the strawberry cider with their Pittsburgh salad and smoked chicken, smoked in-house by the way. That salad didn't stand a chance. Add their house made vinaigrette dressing and it's game set match.
