“Finally getting to writing reviews for the best few vendors from my August 2019 wedding. I am a little hesitant to post this since their Facebook page seems to have gone silent and reviews on other platforms indicate that management and menus may have changed in the last 6 months. But I was so pleased with my experience that it only seems fair to give credit where credit is due…. If you are looking for a rehearsal dinner location in Cranberry and have 30 guests or less, I highly recommend the private room at Ember and Vine in the lobby of the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry. We researched every restaurant in the area and Ember and Vine at DoubleTree delivered a perfect solution. Their facilities are beautiful and modern, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Although they can do traditional seated banquet-style meals, we wanted something distinctly different from our wedding dinner the following day. We chose to order off their regular restaurant menu and have them cordon off a portion of the lobby area next to the private room, where a buffet was placed with different flavors of wings, woodfired pizzas, salad, and their oh-so-yummy crispy brussels sprouts. Not only were they flexible with the setup and menu (accommodating multiple food allergies), they also provided the option to have a limited bar within the private room or have our guests use the full bar in the lobby. Having the private room but also the cordoned off lobby area gave us extra area to mingle and a great balance between private space and the fun energy and ambiance from the restaurant and bar. Our guests loved the food and had loads of fun! Other factors that made Ember and Vine a clear winner for us were: - They had a very low minimum spend. Other locations with private dining had a ridiculous minimum spend that would be difficult to meet with a 20-30 person guest list. - The large parking lot. We looked at other options closer to our venue and parking was limited. - Flexibility with timing. We gave them a general time frame for arrival, but not knowing how long the rehearsal would take, they told us just to call them when we were 20 minutes out. Thanks DoubleTree and Ember and Vine for a classy venue and excellent food that let my husband and me and our closest friends and family relax and have a great time before our big day!!“

Tried to make threservations online but the system was allowing for a 9 am reservation on Sunday, but their website says they don't open until 10... so i called insteadon Friday for 10 am on Sunday 2 days later. I called them on Saturday to increase our party from 3 to 4, but they couldn't find my reservation. But they took the info again and all worked out.It happened to be Jazz Brunch, but the band didn't start until 11. But the music at 10 am was jazz from a stereo, but much too loud.Eggs ordered over easy were cooked hard. Hash browns were delicious as was the bacon. My daughter loved the French toast with black raspberries. We also had Mimosa and Bloody Mary. Tasted great, but far overpriced at $11 for the size. Shared an order of beignets at the end. Took forever to get them, and they were TINY. Should have ordered 2 or 3 portions.“

“The visit to the North Hills Olive Garden Italian Restaurant was outstanding. Food was perfectly done, and the service provided by Megan was great!!!!! It was the perfect place to have a meal of comfort food on a raw cold rainy ? miserable late winter's Saturday night ?. The custom design your own pasta meal is a great feature of the Olive Gardens menu.The only downside item, and it's a minor one,was that there was not enough salad dressing for the salad bowl, and the salad dressing wasn't quite up to the taste standards that I have enjoyed in the past.For instance, the dressing at the Upper St. Clair location in Pittsburgh's south hills.Otherwise, it was a wonderful meal. And again, outstanding service.“

“The custard is super rich and tasty as it's made with a much higher cream content and egg yolks, which you can see even by the color. The mouthfeel is super creamy and lacks the icy flatness of inferior custard or "soft serve".I usually get the affogatto, a plain vanilla cone, or some flavored quarts for at home.My only complaint is that they still add in thickeners which is unnecessary and can give you a stomach ache. I'd sacrifice a little texture for that and there are others in the area that do so like Millie's, which is much less creamy and doesn't taste quite as rich.Otherwise this is actually some of the best ice cream I've had anywhere, excluding gourmet restaurants and Blue Bunny Vanilla they used to make without thickeners, which is now impossible to find. They really paid attention to creating a quality recipe that sets it apart and you can taste it.“

“I brought 7 grandchildren and my daughter to lunch. Our waitress ( not sure of her name) was so kind and efficient . The kids loved the bread sticks ! She kept up with their drinks, breadsticks and lunches. I had the past fagioli soup that tasted so good on a cold day. My daughter got a shrimp pasta dish. We took home chocolate lasagna! “I attended the emo night event this passed Saturday with my wife and some friends. the atmosphere was awesome and the staff did a great job considering how busy they were. the music was great and everyone had a good time. I'd highly recommend Jergels to anyone looking for a cool spot to hang out!“

“The Godfather 7" was perfect. Wish there was a dibellas in Houston. I modified to 4 stars when they clipped me $2 for extra American cheese on a 10" cheese steak. It's usually a little light that why I requested it. A buck would be reasonable.“

I asked if I could switch to delivery and they said yes, it would probably be about 30 minutes…no problem. It was at my door in less than 10 minutes! “We had never been here-met some friends at this halfway point. We were seated at a big table with plenty of room (group of 6). Friendly service, great food. “In town for my daughters hockey tournament, showed up with a large group. They were able to sit us immediately. The waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive. Our group tried several different items and everyone left happy and full. Would recommend giving this a try over a chain, good menu with a lot of good food on it.“
