“Before you enter, you get a feel for what this place is. A large bakery with a ton of selections. Some of my choices didnt make the trip home. I'll be back to try the pies, cakes, and cafe. Only downside is parking could easily be double the size.“

“For six years I have been looking for a new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh since my old favorite one closed. I have never found a place that had the perfect food and atmosphere I was looking for until I entered Lilith last night. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. The service from being greeted to the absolutely awesome server we had was excellent! The food had a wow factor rarely found in Pittsburgh. I’m not usually a huge fan of how vegetables are cooked most places and the veggies in my dish just blew things out of the water. You could tell they were fresh and local too. The fish I had was just amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Needless to say I will be back again and again now to experience more culinary delights!“

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!“

“We had so much fun trying all of the dishes on our list (we chose 5). Don't over order, ask the staff for recommendations on portions for your group size. We did this and thank goodness! We had more than enough with variety and meal sizes. Great beer and wine selections as well!“

“This is such a beautiful establishment! We ate outside in the courtyard garden area and it was so lively. The waitstaff accommodated me as a vegan, and luckily, many of the appetizers were vegan, and one of the entrees is vegan as well, the pumpkin curry. For dessert we had YUMMY mango sticky rice! “We are so lucky to have an establishment like Baby Loves Tacos in the East End! This family not only knows how to make amazing tacos, burritos, etc., but they also know how to feed the soul of a community. From their donation based coffee station to their pay it forward meals to their community meals at the end of the day when they have some extra ingredients, everyone is treated with respect and dignity. If you are craving anything on their menu, you won’t be disappointed. This is a must visit establishment when in the neighborhood.“

When making reservations we thought bar seating was in the bar area but it is at the actual bar so if you don't want to sit at the bar select other seating. We had 3 and sat on the corner and it was a little hard to hear the 3rd person over the sounds of the bartenders shaking drinks. Would go back and instead select the lounge seating instead.“

“It is rated one of Pittsburgh's top ice creameries. I must concur. They have a very large selection of goodies to choose from. It is in a good location but it is a little hard to get in and out of. So be careful. Ice cream with cookies was excellent. I got the raspberry syrup with cheesecake. It was way too sweet for me. But the amount you get is great. It was well worth the price. I was a little bummed. They do not have picnic tables. All in all, it was a great place to go for a dessert. 🙂“

“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. “My family went for lunch on Saturday, the place was absolutely packed! And for good reason, the food was absolutely delicious! And the service we received from our waiter was perfect. Elijah was very attentive and always happy to meet my toddlers many requests 😅 Also would like to add that even though they were super busy, it took them less than 10 minutes to get us seated and the food didn’t take long to come out at all. All the food was hot and fresh, even the strawberries were freshly cut. We will definitely be spending many more breakfast and lunch dates here!“

Pittsburgh has a lot of great restaurants, but very few Puerto Rican restaurants. Secretos De Mis Abuelos far exceeded my expectations. We had the Mofongo Rellenos con Pollo Guisad, Rice & Beans, the best Tostones, AND, the best Tres Leches cake I ever had! (Not hyperbole. Full stop.) I can't remember the last time I had a meal that brought me so much joy. This place is an absolute love letter to the food and culture of Puerto Rico, and if you've never had the opportunity to experience it, I strongly suggest you stop sleeping on it. “I really love the food at Spirt. I’ve been having their pizza for years and that alone is worth a trip in. I ate in the dinning area, I found it very cozy with the real flowers. I definitely like the ambience. The servers are also very friendly, which makes the meal even better. For starters I’ve had the focaccia breadsticks, tempura vegetables, fingerling potatoes, and the Caesar salad, which is huge and shareable. We added a chicken cutlet to the salad, very good! I would recommend all of those appetizers. I had the chicken Parmesan, my favorite part was the pasta that was served with. It was so delicious in the vodka sauce. I added a side of garlic bread, which was also very tasty. I did not eat on the rooftop at this visit, but it’s very cute up there as well.“

“Very nice vibes to hang out and work/study or do something like journal or read. Depending on the day, the initial wait can take a long time but even when it’s very crowded, you can usually find a seat! The coffee is very good and they have several different food options.“

“Stopped here on a whim while visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend. We were looking to grab a coffee and pastry and found this place close to where we were headed. Let me tell you. I would come here every day!! Delicious. We had an almond croissant, hazelnut croissant and brought some bread home. Just slices the olive loaf. I cannot explain how delicious it is. Keep doing a great job. We will be back when we visit the city again!!“
