“It can be a bit dirty some times, tables not getting cleaned fast enough, trash cans full.... BUT I would like to point out that this is at very very busy/rush times and it makes sense that the staff is busy with the flow of customers coming and going and so the tables simultaneously getting used and trash is getting full at a fast rate. I only mention this because it can be off-putting, but it is understandable and it's NOT horrible.“

“For six years I have been looking for a new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh since my old favorite one closed. I have never found a place that had the perfect food and atmosphere I was looking for until I entered Lilith last night. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. The service from being greeted to the absolutely awesome server we had was excellent! The food had a wow factor rarely found in Pittsburgh. I’m not usually a huge fan of how vegetables are cooked most places and the veggies in my dish just blew things out of the water. You could tell they were fresh and local too. The fish I had was just amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Needless to say I will be back again and again now to experience more culinary delights!“

Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. We had the Mofongo Rellenos con Pollo Guisad, Rice & Beans, the best Tostones, AND, the best Tres Leches cake I ever had! (Not hyperbole. Full stop.) I can't remember the last time I had a meal that brought me so much joy. This place is an absolute love letter to the food and culture of Puerto Rico, and if you've never had the opportunity to experience it, I strongly suggest you stop sleeping on it. “We were at Thunderbird this past Sunday for a concert. We brought our 6 year old so she could see her favorite artist perform. While we were there, one of the security staff came over to us multiple times to make sure we were okay with our daughter, offered to take us to a different side of the venue that they made more room after the opener and other kids were there. My kiddo doesn’t like crowds, so we stayed in the back near the steps. Throughout the night, this gentleman came over to us several times just to check in. He also cleared the steps of people standing in front of us so our daughter could see better. I wish we got his name, but he was wonderful. None of us asked him to do that or asked for any special treatment, but the fact that he came over several times to just check in was incredibly nice and such a meaningful thing to do for us as a parent. There was also a girl security guard that had cigarette earrings that was very kind too. Great first experience overall.“

“We go to this Melting Pot at least four times a year. Each time is a wonderful experience. Today, however, we were beyond blown away by the best service we've ever had. “There’s nothing like discovering a new ice cream shop when you travel. I love trying out local ice cream wherever I go and Millie‘s homemade ice cream definitely did not disappoint.

These ice cream flavors were some of the richest, most decadent I have ever experienced and that is coming from an ice cream aficionado.

After dinner, we walked to Millie‘s from our Airbnb and after sampling many different flavors, I finally settled upon the backyard s’mores and the brownie batter. Both flavors absolutely stuck true to their names and packed a punch.

I think I preferred the backyard s’mores just slightly because the brownie batter was SO decadent and SO rich it almost was too much. The keyword there being “almost”.
