“We’ve been saying for years that we are going to stop here and eat sometime. Today was finally “sometime” and now I regret not eating here sooner! It’s a great hole-in-the-wall type of diner. Food was delicious, service was friendly and warm. It’s a small menu with all the right choices plus a couple of daily specials. Lots of food for a great price. I had to take half of mine (half shown in the pic) home with me. We left saying, “see you next time!”“

We are staying at this hotel tonight, and I'm tempted to order that corn and crab chowder for a bedtime snack later because it was that good.“

“We visited Jackson's last week. We were introduced to our server, the hostess informed us she was new. Boy, was she fantastic! The food was an A+. We had soup of the day and Salmon, which was cooked perfectly. Our server was Bonnie Lynn and we will ask to be set in her section next time. She never quit smiling.“

“MY friend and I went there on Saturday to celebrate our birthdays..Our server Adam was simply amazing. He patiently waited for us to decide on our drink order and went as far as to let us try the drink to see if we liked it, which we didn’t but he took it off our bill and then brought us a birthday card and wished us a happy birthday. My husband loved his burger, I had the bisque, which was a large portion of warm buttery crab deliciousness, and both of us ate far too much of the poutine because we couldn't stop picking at it even though we were already full. Will be going back to try more of the menu and try out some of the delicious sounding drinks they offer.“

Excellent recommendations check back to see if needed anything additional and kept our eating area cleared off of useless dishes! Firebirds is a place to get a excellent meal! Prime rib was done to perfections and so was the steaks. Limited desserts but all were delicious and good in size, shareable. It is rather loud when mostly filled! Hard to hear people at your own table talking, the only reason I gave four stars for atmosphere.“

“I have never eaten in restaurant at this location, so I can't speak to that experience, but as far as take out it is usually a decent experience. Carside pickup usually goes smoothly, although the text link next works so you have to call to let them know you arrive. The employees are usually very friendly when they bring it out. Picking up inside the restaurant is a hassle, as the pickup location is in a weird spot and when you stand there all of the employees ignore you so it takes forever to get your food. As far as the food goes it's almost always enjoyable, although sometimes we find the steaks are inedible due to tendons, and they often change the number of chicken tenders they put on the mac and cheese with honey pepper tenders, sometimes there's more than others. They frequently neglect to give me the extra sauces that I pay for, which is annoying. Still the best Applebee's in the area though.“

“Our family of 5 were on our way to Applebee's for lunch today. Unfortunately, we were in a car accident at the main intersection before the restaurant. Another car had hit us, leaving our car disabled. While everyone involved was okay, our lunch plans were obviously changed. While waiting for the tow trucks and clean up, 2 of my children and myself needed to use the restroom. We walked into the restaurant and asked to use the bathroom, explaining the situation, and the server we interacted with was beyond amazing. (I'm sorry I didnt get her name. We were rather shaken up.) She told us of course we could use the restrooms and asked if we were okay and if we needed anything else. She and a manager on duty checked on us one more time before we left, sending us out with water and the invitation to come back if we needed anything. As if we needed another reason to love this restaurant, they were so extremely sweet to us even when we weren't paying customers. They were just good humans. We never did get our Applebee's lunch today, but will definitely be back for our lunches and to thank them again for the generosity and compassion. ❤️❤️“

“I got a humble pepperoni pizza from here, but it was the best I've had in years. I could tell they really put in attention to detail on this. They even added some cheese onto the pepperonis! It was perfectly baked and crispy. The crust was a bit chewy but not so much to detract from the overall quality. Will definitely be getting pizza from here in the future.“

My French Dip Sandwich was excellent, as was the Grilled Cheese with bacon! The staff made us feel at home, and Emily went above and beyond to make our visit great, including charging our dead phone!
