“Had the best visit at Applebee's! Our server Jenna was phenomenal very personable and truly seemed like the loved her job. Doug was bouncing around talking to guests throughout our meal and even stopped by to make sure everything was perfect for us! Thats GREAT customer service! It wasn't a very busy day and sometimes I think that's when you have the worst time out to eat but Jenna was on top of it and the food came out in a timely manner. “Had to give The Lab five stars due to the absolutely out of this world food! My husband and I travel all over the country, mainly seeking out destination restaurants and let me tell you the food here is on par with that of the some most prestigious places across the country. My husband said he would rate the ribeye in his top five EVER! Other dishes are creative and delicious as well. Very cool atmosphere, makes you forget you are in Washington while you are dining. I will mention service could have been much more polished to match the food and ambiance. The majority of our question about the dishes where met with an “I’m not sure” from our server. Not really acceptable to not know the menu frontward and backwards when trying to deliver a fine dining experience. However the quality of the food and cocktails helped us over look the lack luster service. So ecstatic that this restaurant is in our neighborhood. Blows away ANYTHING Pittsburgh has to offer! We will return soon!“

“I booked their banquet room for a combo birthday party for my daughter and husband and everything was great!!! They let us show up hours early to decorate and the food was amazing. The best part was our server/bartender though. She was so busy taking care of the whole party and never once looked overwhelmed or flustered. “We were in the hotel for a school graduation event in the meeting space, figured we'd grab dinner on site to make it easy. The menu was a simple one page affair, printed paper so it's nice that it changes often I guess. We had a flatbread that the girls loved and I had a smokehouse chicken salad with a BBQ vinaigrette dressing that was awesome.I can't rave about the atmosphere as it is simply an aged hotel, pretty vanilla. The service and value, however, were great and you shouldn't hesitate to stop by.

Kid-friendliness: We didn't see any choices that were kid-specific, but before we asked our server, he suggested chicken strips and fries, lol. Worked out great.“

“Service is always reliable and its a convenient place to drop in. Their prices are not great anymore. My husband got the kielbasa and pierogies. The kielbasa was minimal and cut up into teeny tiny bites, not at all like the picture. I'm getting tired of the food selection so I tried pork with rosemary sauce. The pork was dry and tasteless and the sauce had no flavor. Wont order that again. From now on I'll stick to salad or burgers. They are always good.“

This is a very popular diner with delicious food, reasonable prices and friendly service. I got the Reuben and fries, which was one of the best I've had in a long time.

We walk in and grab a booth seat, an employee’s children are playing on their iPads and singing next to us. Everyone enjoying a late Saturday coffee and hearty breakfast. I had the 2 eggs, meat, potatoes, and toast special. My girlfriend had the western omelette and Texas toast. Everything was amazing!!!!(imagine Waffle House but you’ve got the worst hangover ever and your Nana sprinkles a little extra love in there) The bacon is the greatest thing I’ve ever put in my mouth.point.blank.period. The potatoes are exactly how my grandmother chopped and smashed them when she friend them in the cast iron skillet. My girlfriend’s western omelette was exactly how it should be, fluffy bright yellow egg with tons of flavor aided by salt and pepper to your liking and cooked yet firm produce mixed even throughout. Our server, Shelby, was great, made us feel welcomed, answered all our questions, fun to talk to, I had the salmon, perfectly cooked, husband had a filet, also cooked perfectly medium rare, and the steak penne is an outstanding dish, which our daughter ordered. “Small Venezuelan place that has burgers with a Venezuelan flair. Wife and I loved our food. Super unique, nice and juicy and a bit of handful with everything they stuff in there but that’s part of the fun. Smaller place so seating is a bit tricky. Don’t let the prices scare you off you get a TON of food.“
