“Honestly love eating from this place. The cheese fries are to DIE FOR!!! Me and my husband constantly joke they put crack on it to make it so good? the cheese the container comes in looks like it won’t cover all the fries but boy is it deceiving! It is a hole in the wall, but all the best food comes from places like that! After a horrid experience almost 8 years ago now I decided to try again more recently and I am glad I did! Missed the food lol!“

“We ordered the soy garlic wings, sweet and spicy wings, takoyaki and boba tea from Grubhub. The Grubhub driver forgot the bag with the chicken and hung up on the restaurant when they called him, so the MANAGER drove my order over to me. On top of that, it was hands down the best Korean fried chicken I have had in Pittsburgh. It’s SO crispy and the sauces are well balanced. The takoyaki was also delicious, the octopus was perfectly cooked and the breading wasn’t doughy. I’d give them more stars if I could!“

“I bought the Cod fish and fries, it was good. I recommend Hook Fish and Chicken in Penn Hills. The cashier, (Wasal) was very friendly and courteous, my order took about 10 mins. and I didn't mind waiting. For fast food HF&C is the place to go! Bon appetite ?“

“The food is always good, wide range of choices. I eat here weekly because its consistent and affordable. Especially when there are a handful of other chicken joints around that charge more for an inferior product. Food is always fresh and not sitting in a warmer. Try the daily special, they are usually great for the price.“

“Excellent! I had the small order of chicken fingers and I couldn't finish it! It was the tastiest chicken I've ever had. The fries and slaw were also very good. My husband had the catfish and he enjoyed it very much. Our food was served fast and was still very hot when we got it home. I will definitely be ordering again!“

“I love this place, I really do. Today was different though. I waited nearly 30 minutes for my food, but I will say the food was incredible. The service was not good. The person at the counter was utterly disinterested and was on their phone, my order did not initially go through their paging system (Best way I could describe it). The strips were amazing though. Today I just had bad service I guess. The employee at the register was busy on his phone and seemed annoyed with the presence of customers

I will return. Perhaps this employee was having a bad day. The fried pickles were a little salty but they were excellent with the chicken strips. 8/10.“

“I was headed to a US Steel quarterly meeting and was crazy hungry....so I stopped in. Being I was from Ohio, this was my first visit to this location. With Popeyes, it's either hit or miss....This location was a hit! My Spicy Chicken Sandwiches were huge, crispy, and extremely tasty!?
