“while i LOVE this place. I will tell you we had some of the worst service I have ever had in my life. we come here often and today we had a reservation at 3:15 and our server was awful. we sat for 20 mins before even being greeted and only after complaining. he never apologized and still never gave us his full attention. he waited a table immediately when they sat down and we had been her for 15 mins at that time and he had never waited on us at that point.“

“I had my food delivered. The steak sandwich was awesome. The pretzels were over priced and didn't even taste like pretzels. It tasted like old oil. Maybe something went wrong that night. I've had food from here before and it was also good. I believe I had a Reuben the last time and it was really good.
Just the pretzels gotta go with that price“

“Great old time bar... lived right around the corner on William for decades. I stop here every time we're back in town. My wife and her two sisters both worked here in the 80's. Nice neighborhood except chic fillet wrappers from the guy next-door“

“By far well worth the price which wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I’m not sure what the waitress name was but man was she awesome. She was so attentive and super kind. The atmosphere was great too. Next time we have to come to the drs we will definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience.“

“My wife's grandparents are from the hill country of Lebanon, and her "Sittee" made phenomenal food. I haven't had anything even close to her cooking until I went to Babylon. Friendly, courteous owner and staff, great service, and food that is out of this world. What more could you want?“

“We were there first time yesterday. Food,drinks and service was very good. Will definitely be back. Only negative comment is that the front steps handrails need to be replaced or repaired. I'm partially handicapped and had a tough time getting in and out.“

“We go usually on weekends and must have their wings. Almost tried with all the sauces the offer.
One of best part is, they offer 9-11pm happy hours which none of the restaurants/bars offer because that’s the pick customer time.
Their cocktails are also amazing.
Staff is very courteous and food service is quick depending on the customer rush.
Overall its my go to place and you must try as well.“

Another table close by also complained of wait time. we were given the excuse that a large party came in ( not true) and large number of take outs (?). “While in Pittsburgh for a conference, I came across this place with the groups of ladies I was with. The food was AMAZING!!! I have been dreaming of the roasted carrot taco ever since! My husband asked to plan a trip to Pittsburgh next year for the NFL draft- I only agreed because he promised me we could eat at this restaurant! Looking forward to that a year from now!!!“
“Great neighborhood joint. Smoking allowed, cigars are welcome. Try the meatballs! Delicious. Great place to watch a game, with several big screen tv’s. Host Francis Pope will make sure you enjoy your evening.“

“What a fun little spot to stop in for a drink before & after an event. We dropped by for the 1st time b4 the Pens game (& after if course). The owner Jimmy was so gracious, so friendly to talk with. The crowd wasn't too bad (we even started taking to a few other PENs fans, that was nice) , the food was really good. So if you're looking for a good place to hang out, grab a bite & a drink be sure to stop at Shale's. I know I'll definitely be back.“

“Gd/fair priced fish sandw, tuna sandw, and ceasar salad. But, had to take basket o fries hm & airfry til crisp & gldn brown as they shld b bcuz they were white/undercooked. Beer was $7ea!! So if I bought a case, it would be $168??? Price gouge much?? That is ridiculous! So ok if u want to eat here but DO NOT DRINK HERE. Sorry, I wont be back.“

“We found this place during Covid and we order from them all the time! At least once a month for the last 2-3 years. The only thing I haven’t enjoyed are the Reuben rolls or balls. Absolutely love the loaded potato croquettes and the BEST Brussel sprouts ever. Please bring back the quesadilla with Mac and cheese and pulled pork. It was so good and it was my fiancés favorite. Everytime we order he asks if you guys put it back on the menu yet.“
“Shout out to Casey's Draft House they really showed me gratitude and great hospitality. I'm from Stamford, Connecticut and I've been in PA for 3yrs and so far it has been a pleasant stay. I lost my license and glasses and just happen they held me down. So big ups to Casey's Draft House and God bless. 1Love!“
