“I happened upon this coffee shop on a whim and felt welcomed from the moment I walked through the door. Honestly, it was like I stepped into a cozy fantasy novel. The atmosphere is friendly and you can *feel* the care and thoughtfulness that goes into the service. There are so many drink choices that I'm glad there's a wheel to spin for inspiration. Fate landed on a spiced pear chai and it was phenomenal. I already want to go back.“

“Walking into the old post office feels like stepping back in time. The building is beautifully renovated, with charming side rooms that add to the cozy atmosphere. Everything is made fresh, and the coffee was absolutely amazing. Our breakfast sandwiches were delicious—hot, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We loved how dog-friendly it was, making it easy to pop in and out with your pup. The whole place has a warm, family-friendly vibe. Truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Carnegie!“

“Al's has a great, extensive menu sure to have something to suit everyone. Their portions are nothing short of incredible for the price, and the service is excellent.
I'm sure they have busy times, but we've never had trouble getting a table for small or medium-sized groups.“

“Went to breakfast today, eggs Benedict was delicious, daughter and wife loved the pancakes and fruit. Nice menu with lots to try. Place was busy but they are super friendly and work together. Got a cookie to go was also delicious.“

“Great staff, affordable, quick service, very accommodating to special requests, great coffee-I love this place. I used to go about 2-3 times a week before it became super popular. I highly recommend it! I only wish the tutti frutti wasn’t seasonal, but that’s because they only use berries when they’re in season…so that ones on mother nature“

“My husband and I didn't know this place was here till today, but we are so glad we found it! The Farmer's Latte was excellent and I always appreciate having milk substitutes! The Arepas were delicious and very filling! Service staff are very kind; we will definitely be back!“

“Not sure if this is the right place for this review, but I wanted to shout out whoever was working that Starbucks cafe the morning of Black Friday. The line was packed but those baristas got everyone in and out in no time; I barely blinked and my drinks were there. Very friendly and polite as well.“

“The green beans appetizer is so delicious I had to order more! Plus I had the crispy chicken salad the chicken was so tender and the flavor was so good with all the combination in this salad! I defiantly recommend this place. Such a wonderful and unique little Cafe IO. ***** 5 star place in my opinion!“
