The staff was very welcoming and polite. Our food was delicious and came out so quick. It was a great dining experience and I plan on stopping back in when we are in the area.“

“My wife and I made a stop here while passing through Dormont, PA and it was a great little breakfast find. The place has a warm, rustic vibe, and our waitress was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Sparkie’s Omelette—which comes with kielbasa, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut—and while it may sound like an odd combo, it was on point. Paired with home fries and wheat toast, everything hit the spot. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and good service.....can’t ask for more from a diner breakfast.“

“Came here because the place we wanted to go was too busy and way too loud, and it ended up being a far better choice. This is by far the best Mexican food I've had in Pennsylvania, and the only complaint I have about this place is that I live too far away to come here regularly. I had the carne asada street tacos (amazing), my wife had the birria burrito (HUGE), and my kids had tacos; we all left stuffed and happy. If you're in the Washington area, don't miss a chance to stop in at Don Taco!“

“Amazing family owned mexican joint. They are open early and never disappoint. I've eaten my way through most of the menu and have ordered things I didn't know what they were and I myself could not pronounce, each item has always been delicious and made with love. The food is always fresh and served with a smile. It's authentic and in my opinion some of the best tacos you can get in the area ( and there are a ton of taco places near by, this is by far my favorite).
Gordita and chiliquiles are also some of my favorites here. Fully stocked fridge with every flavor of jaritos, mineragua, as well as some house made drinks. They have a handful of indoor seats as well as a patio with tables and chairs for the warmer months. Always hits!!!“

“Wonderful Central American restaurant. We had pupusas that were super rico. Perfectly made and comparable to in other cities. Comes with great curtido (lightly pickled spicy cabbage) of course, and nice horchata. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic affordable and friendly Salvadoran place in the PGH area! Must visit and is conveniently on the red line of the T light rail so very easy to visit from downtown. They played birthday song for someone else and notice we sang and were wishing happy birthday to someone at our table. Boom they brought the hat, a dessert and played the music again for us. “It can be a bit dirty some times, tables not getting cleaned fast enough, trash cans full.... BUT I would like to point out that this is at very very busy/rush times and it makes sense that the staff is busy with the flow of customers coming and going and so the tables simultaneously getting used and trash is getting full at a fast rate. I only mention this because it can be off-putting, but it is understandable and it's NOT horrible.“
