“What a special place to celebrate our anniversary! Not only was the food delicious and reasonably priced, we had wonderful service. We were surprised by a handmade anniversary card from the staff and a complimentary dessert. The Juniper Grill is definitely on our list to return to!“

“Had to give The Lab five stars due to the absolutely out of this world food! My husband and I travel all over the country, mainly seeking out destination restaurants and let me tell you the food here is on par with that of the some most prestigious places across the country. My husband said he would rate the ribeye in his top five EVER! Other dishes are creative and delicious as well. Very cool atmosphere, makes you forget you are in Washington while you are dining. I will mention service could have been much more polished to match the food and ambiance. The majority of our question about the dishes where met with an “I’m not sure” from our server. Not really acceptable to not know the menu frontward and backwards when trying to deliver a fine dining experience. However the quality of the food and cocktails helped us over look the lack luster service. So ecstatic that this restaurant is in our neighborhood. Blows away ANYTHING Pittsburgh has to offer! We will return soon!“

“I gave my mom a gift card here for Mother’s Day. She said she had “the best meal” she’s had in a long time. Her friend who accompanied her was in agreement. The brunch pictures I received looked absolutely fantastic. Thank you for providing a 5 star experience on such a special day!“

“We visited Jackson's last week. We were introduced to our server, the hostess informed us she was new. Boy, was she fantastic! The food was an A+. We had soup of the day and Salmon, which was cooked perfectly. Our server was Bonnie Lynn and we will ask to be set in her section next time. She never quit smiling.“

“Bar itself is great. Some really nice people at any given time as well. But all that goes from a 5 star experience to a zero whenever the ego maniac Julia happens to be working. She is a very toxic and demanding person hell bent on iron rule. She is the epitome of an overbearing, drama loving wannabe diva. Skip Mondays and Sundays and turn around any other day she happens to be filling in.“

“Our server Heather was super awesome. She was a complete rockstar. She knew the menu inside and out, and helped my wife navigate her food allergy. She helped our kids order their meals and pizookies. Heather professionally took care of my meal when the pork chop was not cooked all the way through. I cannot say enough things about Heather. We had an excellent experience five stars.“

“Our visit was on 3/14. We were waited on right away, but things started to go sideways from there. First off, the wooden tables are GROSS! The finish is coming off and they’re real sticky, honestly, I didn’t want to even put my elbows on it!

When the food came, they forgot my friends fries, but they fixed it. The food was good, I will say that. Then the check came! My check was wrong, they tried to charge me for a drink that was part of the deal, the manager fixed it. Some excuse about splitting a check that made no sense. Then my friends credit card came back…. In theory! The waitress gave him someone else’s check back along with someone else’s credit card! They had to look around the tables to find his card and then give back whose ever credit card that he had.

Over all, the food was good, the service was not so good, the atmosphere was REALLY LOUD! My ears are still ringing as I write this.“

“Loved this place! I have been wanting to stay at the property for quite sometime due to my commute. I decided to check out the Restaurant & Bar and was greeted with such lovely staff. Connie could not have been more hospitable with her knowledge of drinks, conversation and amazing service. Scott, Food & Bev.Manager was highly impressive as well. His professionalism on top of personality and knowledge of the f&b world was an enjoyable experience. I will be back weekly if not monthly thanks to Connie & Scott.
