“We went the other night and were not disappointed at the food or service. However the price was high and this is not critical but the ambiance was not there. The tables were so close that we could hear everyone's conversation. Also it was very hard to hear what the owner was saying when he was telling us the specials. There is no liquor available and you must bring your own BOB and for the price of the entrees, it would have been nice to be able to do this. Again I will say the food was exceptional but suggestions would be to leave more space between diners, lower the lightening, possibly use tablecloths rather than place mats. All in all, it was a nice one time restaurant but probably would not go again.”

“Stopped by St. Catherine Labouré church's food truck fest today (8/17) and picked up a crab cake, an order of cheesy crab balls, fries and cole slaw. Man, everything was BANGIN'! First of all the crab is tasty, you can tell they're getting it fresh, and the portions were generous. Denise still had some crab cake leftover, and the cheesy crab balls were really nicely spicy, with a ton of crabmeat. We split fries, a HUGE order, and split the slaw, also enough for two. Fries have a seafood seasoning similar to Old Bay, and the slaw was nicely tangy, slightly creamy, just a hint of sweet. Definitely got the seasoning right, the crab is copious, and it's a super value. Denise reports: lump crab in those cakes, NO FILLER!”

“Black & Bleu is a longstanding steakhouse in Hampden Township, PA., not far from Camp Hill. It has an excellent, wide-ranging menu and generous portions. It is very popular on the weekends so reservations are a must, and you might still wait a bit.”

The building inside and out was very clean. The hibachi chef was funny and nice as he cooked our food in front of us. We ordered hibachi, an appetizer and sushi. “The best around! I came for the Saturday Lunch Buffet with a friend, and it was, as usual, over the top amazing. Fresh, hot, made with love - Traditional South Indian food; The aromas and ambiance hit you as soon as you step inside, and are greeted by the warmest friendliest people on Earth. Vegetarian options and Meat, the Tandoori chicken was so juicy, succulent and fall off the bone tender. Best around, hands down! Customer Service was quick to seat us, friendly and prompt in serving us. They made us to-order mango lassies, served us hot fresh naan and another rolled up flat bread, recommended some things that I had never tried, and of course, it was delicious. A couple of the ladies there saw us being silly and stretching to "make more room" for that scrumptious Indian food, and joined in for the laugh with us. They didn't mind that we sat and talked for a while after eating, and were just so hospitable and genuine. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽”

I went with the sour nitro beer (Wildest Dreams) and my boyfriend had the Grinnin’ Grizzly… both of which were excellent. On the way out we picked up some bottled soda to take home. The other meals were delicious for the other persons in my group.

Volume was good and we could chat easily.

“Today while shopping at Wegmans in Chestnut Hill, I had the unfortunate experience of feeling faint. I immediately took my mask off, but that did not help. In fact, as I tried to make my way to the cashier, I found myself feeling more light headed, unable to see well and very dizzy. I just said out loud, I need a doctor. A wonderful woman heard me and yelled for a doctor and the answer came. An anesthesiologist who happened to be in the check out area responded and took me with the support of store personnel to sit down. While there, he made sure I was ok and got me some water and checked my pulse etc. The next thing I recall is the manager Brian showed up. Eventually, Brian took over and stayed with me as I recovered. He made what seemed like a terrifying experience more manageable. He got me a second glass of water and when I was ready, he walked me to my car and made sure my groceries that he checked out for me were with me. I called him when I arrived home and let him know I was safe. A big thank you to all who supported me today simply does not seem like enough but I am so grateful to everyone who was there. Your kind, compassionate shoppers and staff are remarkable. Thank you!”

“I don’t like to leave bad reviews. Especially because my customer server from Nate was amazing however, while I was waiting the other shift lead I think Cailie? Was training a young kid on how to make cookie sandwiches. He was clearly brand new and she couldn’t have been more annoyed by his lack of knowledge. I heard her say things like “haven’t you make this before” or “well you have 2 cookies so what do you think”

Laugh and roll her eyes and at one moment look at me like I was gonna chime in with her public humiliation of this kid. He was so embarrassed. With my background in restaurants and training this is an individual who shouldn’t be training at all. I hope this young man doesn’t quit because of her poor leadership.

“Had a great experience at this store! We needed a to go order for the whole CV ice hockey team 20hungry teenage boys plus coaches for a bus trip. The amazing staff worked with us for an easy solution to let all the boys order and pay for their own subs online and I picked them up to deliver to the bus. The process was smooth and quick. When I went to pick them up they had them all sorted and individually labeled with names and put in a box for easy transportation. The staff was extremely friendly and they even carried the box to my car for me! If you ever need to order for a group or sports team I highly recommend using this store! “I have been a Dairy Queen fan for probably 40+ years of my life. Started out as an occasional treat for my husband and I when we were first married in Hagerstown, MD. Over the years we’ve moved around with his job, and we’ve ended up retiring here in Mechanicsburg. We’ve been going to the Simpson St. Dairy Queen for over 24 years and I have to tell you, the people who work there are like family to us, especially to me since I am usually the customer. They are always ready to serve you with a smile and a kind word, even when they are BUSY! I have three grown daughters who all live far away and I miss them, but the girls here are like daughters to me. Today, on the day before Mother’s Day, when I was feeling a little down because I couldn’t be with my own daughters, I was given a special treat that MADE MY DAY! I didn’t see reviews for the pizzas, so I was a little hesitant to order one but I’m so glad I did. 😊 The tandoori chicken pizza with tikka habanero sauce was amazing, full of flavor with the perfect spicy kick. I also ordered the coconut curry wings, which were very good as well. Everything tasted fresh and well made, and the quality really came through even as takeout. I’ll definitely be ordering again and can’t wait to try the wings in the tikka habanero flavor next time! 😋”

Neither seemed to notice I was there nor acknowledged or greeted me. I walked out. I would have gladly waited had either employee taken a moment to greet me and tell me they’d be take care of my order asap. Been there before, service is always slow”
