“The owners and waiters are exceptional! The food was beautiful and fresh. But all of that is nothing compared to the lemon meringue pie. They might as well call it Gold Pie. Because it’s at least worth its weight in gold!….no wonder they’ve been in business 73 years!“

“A small ma & pa joint, cheap little eats, usually teenagers working which is wonderful for teaching younger generations responsibility. Its nice to see somewhere giving kids a chance for work.Food is really good. Never had anything bad.“

“Such a great, local, family owned restaurant. The food is absolutely fantastic. Always made fresh. Great variety on the menu from steaks, burgers, hot sandwiches (the hot roast beef and turkey are not to be missed), to seafood, like shrimp, lobster, and crab legs. You CAN NOT leave without one of their homemade deserts. Cakes, pies, apple dumplings, brownies, and more. The restaurant does get busy at times, but the staff does a great job of turning over tables and there is never much of a wait (I can't ever remember waiting more than 10 minutes or so). The wait staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful.“

“I stumbled across this hidden gem, picking up my daughter up from camp... The staff and owners were helpful and informative. And my bacon cheeseburger was out of this world???. If you are taking a road trip, please stop in and grab a bite .“

“This is a quaint restaurant that has been here for many years. We came here on a Saturday morning, the restaurant was busy, but not overly busy. The service was quick, the food was plentiful. My eggs were a bit overcooked, but still edible. My son ordered a pancake. It was HUGE! I am glad I came, and would come back some time.“

“Everything you could possibly ask for in a hometown restaurant. Welcoming & friendly, great service, delicious food! Seafood platter which was a special, and turkey croquettes with mashed potatoes and bread filling. (Don't judge, I carbed out lol)“

“I tried the place based on reviews and photos. I thought the food was great. I ordered eggs over medium, bacon, home fries with onion and homemade toast. Everything was cooked to my specifications, very tasty. My waitress was busy but let her grumpy attitude shine through. There were other wait staff being friendly and smiling while working. The atmosphere was busy, but I liked the look and feel of the place. Sorry, left my phone in the truck, so no photos.Parking: I parked my bobtail with no problem.“

“What a quaint place! The service was excellent and so was the food. We had a pizza hoagie and an open-topped baked ItalianBoth were excellent. The restaurant is bright, clean and has an "open" feeling. I'm told all their baked goods are homemade ... and they looked delicious. That's just a reason to return!“

“I was here a two months ago and I loved the place. Owners are dedicated. Food is good. Coffee is good. Dora, the waitress, is really down to earth and the people seem like my people. Worth a drive from Lehighton and I will say hello again soon. Dr Stephanie “
