“I wanted to write a long review praising how I felt about the sub I received and the the great attitude of the gentleman that made it. If I didn't know better I wouldn't even know he was at work. He wasn't uncaring, he seemed to enjoy what he was doing, and I got the feeling my sub was going to be made as if he were going to eat it. It's hard to find that in my experience. And I forgot to mention it was the best sub I've had in a very long time. Sooo I'll keep it short and you can find out for yourself!“

“I mostly get a ham on roll here. That's about it. I love their ham. The only thing I take issue with is how the assemble their sandwiches. I don't like that the mayo is put on top of the lettuce because then the lettuce becomes coated in it and it makes the sandwich messy. Mayo should go on the roll. I also don't like that the onions and tomatoes are put on top of the meat. It should be may, lettuce, tomato and onion then any cheese and/or meat. I have to basically put my own mayo on when I get home and reassemble my sandwich.“

“Came here for lunch, got a cheesesteak and zucchini fries. The cheesesteak was delicious and HUGE 😂 i only ate half of the half. Zucchini fries were fresh and appeared freshly breaded and fried to perfection. Establishment was very clean and service was really good. Ate on the outdoor patio, and it was calm and peaceful. If im ever in the area, I will come again ❤‍🔥“

“This is by far my favorite sandwich shop in Reading. For me I love their italian sandwich and their onions are a bit stronger than some but make the sandwich unique and delicious. They have done catering trays for some parties I have thrown and they always get good compliments. Thanks for always a consistently delicious sandwich!“

“Food was prepared on the spot with care and efficiency. The girl that took my order was bilingual she immediately picked up my Mom's accent and replied in Spanish. The coffee was fresh. And the 2 girls that were working didn't stop preping, organizing or cleaning the whole time we we there eating...great job!“

“Great staff at this location, which is inside a TopStar Gas station. Our office is nearby, and we usually place orders through the app for pickup. They do a great job at handling pretty large orders, and are always friendly when I go into pick up. Food consistently above average for a Subway.“

“The hoagies are delicious but the way customers are served is ridiculous. If a customer physically walks into the place to place an order, that customer should not have to wait for over an hour to have their order fulfilled because of a backlog of online orders. Face to face customers should be served first. That’s how other sandwich shops do it.“

“My father and I were desperate for food Christmas Eve and we couldn’t find any place still open. We called the Subway in Elverson PA to ask if they’d be open and the individual who answered said that even though we wouldn’t get there until a few minutes after they closed, he would keep the shop open a few extra minutes for us. He also let us order ahead so it would be ready for when we got there. We showed up 5 minutes past close on Christmas Eve and he let us in and had all of our food ready to go. We were able to pay and head out in less than five minutes. His name was Harry and he was AWESOME. So, not only was that an example of EXCEPTIONAL customer service, but the food was also great. “I’m in town for a few days. Stopped bye on a late Monday evening. Just before closing. Got the most incredible California Cheesesteak . So Good! Packed with meat sauce and the fixings ! Swung bye yet again on Tuesday after work. Same thing !!! Fries were hot and delicious. Hats off to management and nice friendly employees! See you again on my next travels !!“

“My friend and I order sandwiches from V & S (Lancaster Ave) every 2 weeks. Last week, we ordered the Cuban sandwiches for the first time. All the sandwiches I've had there have been wonderful - tasty, full of meat and cheese, rolls fresh. (I wish they still had the prosciutto and provolone like years ago. I loved those!) But the Cubans - not that good. I know we're not in Miami, but it tasted like the sandwiches were pressed on the grill, not on a panini iron. You could even see what might be bits of steak and onions on the outside of the rolls, that contributed to the weird flavor. We'll still order because we haven't had better sandwiches! Not he Cubans. (The fries are great, pizza not.) Keep on cooking!“
