“Right on walnut street! I was out with a friend and he suggested this place, I was there like 25+ years ago when it had another owner. So we went in, got some beers, and ordered. Beers came quick and cold! My friend ordered a hot turkey with gravy and fries, I ordered a hot ham and cheese. Side of bacon covered cheese fries....excellent! Prices were good, as was all the food and drink! I highly recommend this place. Don't miss out!“

“I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. Coming in as a first timer there, I expected “first timer treatment” (you know how it can be when you’re not an established “regular”) but instead was greeted with enthusiasm, kindness and an eagerness to deliver fantastic service! The venue is clean and beautiful from the huge big screen TVs, to the high-tech bar with built in wireless chargers all the way to the cleanliness and overall appearance of the bathroom. Everything is clean and new, and there is a ton of space and a lot of bar seating! All of the staff members were fun, polite and extremely vigilant in providing top-notch diligent service, and all of our food was incredible too! “Definitely do not come here for the atmosphere or the cleanliness. It hasn't seen a sanitizer since 1980. Literally. It was pretty bad. BUT....we committed to staying because someone gave the food a 5 stars review...and I see why. It was hands down the best breakfast I've had. Every part of that meal was a 5. Only the food, the coffee was awful, so not the beverages, just the food. I was in total shock. That cook needs a raise! Also,it's a shame, someone needs to clean this place up, and give the dining area a face lift. Because, the food their serving deserves to be served on a nice plate, and put on a clean, bought this century, booth. It also smells real bad, they need to open up the windows and let some fresh air in there.“

“My husband and I have been to this restaurant a couple times since they opened. They recently did a menu change and we love everything that we have tried. There is something on the menu for everyone! If you are looking for a place with good cocktails this is the perfect place! My favorite so far are the crab cakes. “Picture if you can going back in time to an era when there was major industry in the valley. Elrama Generating Station was running full bore as well as West Penn Power and the mines were open supplying coal to these giant power houses Well that era is gone!!! But not the people, they still come get drunk and swing down memory lane. A patron played a song on the juke box " Country Road" by John Denver. Everyone in the place sang along and smiled a simple song for simple people Beware of the bartender though she skims 5/30/2018 The sign is back on!!!! Come on in, enjoy a cold beer on a hot day“

“We went to this bar/restaurant today and sat at a table in the bar area. Brooke was our wait person. We ordered specials, stuffed cabbage and mashed potatoes (real) and chicken BLT, which was a salad. Everything was good. Hands down the best chicken fingers I have had. They were crunchy and tasted good. You didn't need anything to make them taste good. The prices were reasonable as well. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area!“

“i have taken several people here visiting from all over PA and even Florida. Everyone loved it, it's like a dive bar from the past. Not fancy on purpose, not pretentious on purpose. The food is off the charts, wings, burgers, cheese steaks. They even have a tent set up for the covid. Do yourself a favor and find this gem.“

“First time here. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, very laid back. Great music on the jukebox. We had a table of 10 and there was only 1 cook and 1 bartender/waitress, and they did a phenomenal job. The food came out quickly, I wait a lot longer at most other restaurants with a large staff. Wings are amazing. They have whole wings!! The jimmy fries are delicious. Drink prices are great. Nice drink specials, too. If you're looking for a nice clean bar, good food this is your place. Kudos to this amazing duo. ??
