“Was skeptical about how this place had so many good reviews.
I am no longer skeptical. We have dined here three times now and every dish has been incredible. Lobster teriyaki was two huge tails. Miso soup was beautiful. They have brought us comped soup/salad and special fish fry nuggets.
Everything here is amazing.“

“My family and I had an incredible dining experience tonight at Umai. We had a special, Kinmedai aka Golden Eye Snapper that was so fresh and tasty, out of this world good! We also had a treat with broiled tuna cheek that was also outstanding. Otoro was so velvety and rich, spicy hotate, sweet ebi, unagi, fried crabs, incredible sushi rolls, savory Akadashi (my son ordered a second it was so good) and everything else we ordered tonight was just incredible. “Amazing restaurant with great sushi and some of the BEST RAMEN not just in the area, but in South East PA. I crave it at least 2-3 times a week and the sushi options are amazing and the fish is always top notch, fresh and cut perfectly. I love this place.“

“I have been coming to Nagomi pretty frequently for about a year now and I really enjoy it. The staff is very kind and attentive. I love their rolls very much. I think the portions are good and the flavors of their speciality rolls work well together. I also enjoy their kitchen items and their miso soup is always delicious. I also think that they are very reasonably priced. I am very glad to have found this place and have brought my friends and family here :)“

“Edit - Within less than an hour of posting my review, I received a prompt call from the restaurant to apologize explaining they saw my review and looked into what could’ve happened. They had found there was a crack in one of their lids and have fixed the issue. I am very happy with how quickly they looked into this and reached out. As such, I’m editing my review and can say this was likely just an accident and not indicative of the overall quality of the restaurant.Been coming here for years and the food is generally good. That said, we found a shard of hard glass or plastic in our food (spicy tuna roll) which my wife bit down on. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be coming back. Giving two stars just based on the previous good experiences…“

“Highly recommend if you go to the Plymouth meeting mall. This place has been here for at least 20 years and is one of the last eatery still standing. I used to go when I was in my teens, now when I take my daughter to the mall to play I have to get some. Always the chicken teriyaki with extra chicken and sauce. So happy they are still open and food tastes exactly how I remember.“

“Great place to eat at Assi Food Plaza. Quick and relatively cheap during these times of inflation. Lots of options to choose from. Really love their Donkatsu and the Curry Rice. The peanut dressing on their salad is top tier. Most things cost around $10 to $20. ?“
