“My friend and I stopped in on our way back home from Pittsburgh. He said he was there once and they had excellent wings. He wasn't lying. They are whole, jumbo wings and they fell off the bone. Kaylee, our server and bartender was wonderful. The cook, I think it was Joe. They were out of a certain wing sauce, but he made a new batch, just for me.
I'll be stopping again soon.“

“You can Uber eats whatever you are in the mood for, as I think they have hot dogs and free pop corn but that's it. Gives you the option of ordering what you are in the mood for. Great priced drinks, dart boards, pool table. It's a great drive bar, lots of fun!“

“Clean and good service. They have pool, darts, and outdoor seating. You can order food at the bar from Portofinos next door and they bring it over so you can eat at gormans. Their food is amazing and so reasonably priced, they also have different drink specials everyday, and many of them. The bartender Sam is a sweetheart and great at her job. She recognized me and my boyfriend by the second time we came in, remembered what drinks we got, and shes great at making conversation. We will definitely keep coming back“

“Really good meal with friendly and attentive staff. We went for brunch, and the menu had a great variety of options with something for everyone.

I had the highly rated smash burger, and it definitely lived up to the hype—really flavorful and one of the highlights of the meal.

We ended up sitting inside, but if you catch a nice day, I’d recommend eating outside. They have a unique tented outdoor setup that looked like a great place to hang out and enjoy a meal. Overall, a really enjoyable brunch spot in Pittsburgh!“

“Great Food and Atmosphere, Some Service Concerns I recently moved to the Braddock Hills area and was excited to revisit this spot, which used to be Folie’s a few years back. The food here is absolutely delicious, and it’s the perfect place to grab a bite, enjoy a margarita, and relax. That said, I’ve had a few experiences with a particular staff member that were concerning. While most of the team has been friendly and welcoming, However, barmaid (JESS who served me February the 7th around 1:49 p.m.) has been noticeably short and dismissive on a couple of occasions. For example, there were times when she rolled her eyes or responded curtly when I greeted her, even though previous visits had been pleasant. I even had an instance where my drink was placed at the very edge of the bar in a way that felt intentionally difficult. I did call to bring this to the manager’s attention to address it, no and she allegedly answered the phone as the manager, and to my experience the manager is a gentleman as well as the owner. I wanted to share it here as well. I’ve spoken with other patrons who’ve noted that her personality can sometimes affect the overall experience. While I understand everyone can have an off day, consistent professionalism and courtesy are essential in customer service, especially in a neighborhood gem like this one. Overall, I truly enjoy this restaurant—the food, ambiance, and most of the staff make it a wonderful place. “Starting this review off on a positive note- I only stepped foot into this establishment because the bartender, Kat, is sweet as can be. Anywhere she works, she’s bringing the vibe. Where New Amsterdam lost me was advertising “Jumbo Fresh Wings” but serving us party wings aka wing dings. I believe it was the kitchen manager who dropped our food off to us. She placed our food down and I was confused so I hollered after her “hey! Wait, we ordered jumbo wings. These are the jumbo wings?” to which she responded over her shoulder “I just make what they order” and kept walking. We were 2 of 9 people in there on a Tuesday night. She could’ve at the very least stopped to speak to the paying customer(s) or grabbed her boss. The saving grace is that the flavors were good. Not sure if it’s worth paying $1.50 per party wing or the subpar service from the kitchen staff, but good enough. Very misleading and bad business practices. Either drop the price or serve people what they ordered.“
