“We live right here in Mountain Home. So ths is not a “weekender” sending in a review. If it wasn’t the BEST place ever, tje locals would never go back. Aside from that, they make the absolutely most wonderful sandwiches and Rays homemade soups are fantastic. Also aside, the folks that work there go above and beyond to help you with your order. Friendly , cheerful, it’s the place you go when you need a lift, coffee or smile wise. Spend a little time there, if you want “in and out” in 10 minutes, to go a fast food place on the highway. Those of us here in town love the atmosphere and the friendship. Weekend welcome, too.“
“We got a catering order from Nick's and it was awesome! 4 ft Italian sub was delicious. Antipasta had a great presentation and tasted great. The eggplant parm we ordered I never got to try because everyone was going back for more! Nick and staff were personable and friendly as well! I would definitely order from here again. “We stopped in yesterday after reading about the deli on Things To Do In The Poconos. We picked up sauerkraut, potato cheddar, and potato and onion pierogies from the freezer section. They were excellent and authentic. We took them home and boiled and pan fried them and really enjoyed them. I thought $8 a dozen was a reasonable price. The husband and wife were super friendly and very helpful and welcoming. Looking forward to going back!“
“This is a grocery type deli where you can buy ingredients like cold cuts, so don't expect them to make you a sandwich.This place is tiny! But its selection is massive! If you're looking for polish staples this place is great. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The prices area reasonable. The inventory is always fresh. You can also send packages to Europe here. We've been coming here for years and will continue to frequent it as long as we're around.“

They do have an atm.Stopped in for some breakfast sandwiches this morning--I have to say, we've been coming to the area for years and I'm pretty mad I just came in here for the first time.Gave me some ny deli vibes without the hustle-bustle, brusqueness, and city prices. Also, there's some really nice seating, self-serve coffee, the ability to buy and grind coffee beans, fresh pastries, etc. Essentially a classic deli/coffee shop, but done to perfection. Everyone I interacted with was very kind, and the food was superb (and really cheap for the quality). I'll be back!Also a note--I saw one of the more heartwarming interactions between a staff member and regular that I've ever seen. A regular came in who I gathered was going through a rough patch, and he was offered a hug, which he accepted. I tell this story because it's apparent that this is a place run by good people that care about the community. They deserve your patronage.“
