As a health conscious family, who doesn’t consume pork or pork bi-products, we’re don’t often eat out but when we learned that House of Soul doesn’t use pork, we ran over to try them and baby, they did NOT disappoint!! The ribs are BOMB! And the fact that my bodybuilder husband was able to find things on the menu that fit within his meal plan was everything! The kids loved the food too! The owner, Kay is super sweet! You can tell she puts her heart and soul (pun intended) into her food! Since first tasting House of Soul 2 months ago, we’ve been back 4 times 🫣… and we’ll very likely be going back again soon!“

“First of all, the sauce is good, and the slice nails the cheese to crust ratio you'd want from a large New York slice. The crust is capable + hearty.

More importantly, this was a first purchase from an obviously local business in the middle of an obviously busy time on the phone, they dealt with two follow up calls to adjust the needs for the order pleasantly and without stress

I was super pleased to find a slice this good in homestead and thought the relative score should have been over 4 stars easily. I didn't dine in but we will next trip and I'll update this.

+The meatball option on the pizza is a favorite and this one really delivered.

PS Most of my reviews aren't this serious, but this is pizza we're talking about, not something like the safety of my automobile. It deserved a bit of appropriate reverence.

Vegetarian options: Our veg heads just loved the classic cheese which is such a good start. Toppings don't matter if they won't eat the bread, cheese, and sauce. *I can't help your vegans with this, sorry. :)“

“Incredible food, drinks and service! The atmosphere is lovely as well, it's a treat to dine in the garden when the weather is warm. They have very creative and delicious cocktails, I enjoyed their take on an old fashioned with chai tea and smoked cedar. I recommend ordering family style so you can try as much as possible. The roti with chicken curry, pork satay, tuna laab, 17 ingredient salad, stir fried morning glory and mushrooms, chicken jungle curry and khao soi beef cheek were all delicious!!! We also enjoyed the coconut ice cream and Thai custard for dessert, it's hard to go wrong here when everything on the menu is so good. Tables are hard to book, but if you can't get a reservation you can walk in if you show up 15-20 minutes before they open“

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. “Our large party had a wonderful experience celebrating a college graduation at Monterey Bay. Our group was accommodated at a table with a beautiful view of The Point. The service was exceptional, and we felt very welcome and special. We were not rushed, our graduate was made to feel extra special with complimentary dessert, and unique postcards signed by the table. The staff even offered to take our pictures in front of the amazing view. The food was very good, albeit pricier than what we are accustomed to, but we knew that when we made the reservations. Their Pad kee Mao is my favorite dish, the flat rice noodles hold the flavor amazingly and this is also the first Thai place I've ever encountered that a 10/10 spice is too much for me. 6-7 is so rich with spice without the overwhelming heat. I haven't had a single bad thing from here and have been going the for years now. best Thai food in Pittsburgh“

Elijah was very attentive and always happy to meet my toddlers many requests 😅 Also would like to add that even though they were super busy, it took them less than 10 minutes to get us seated and the food didn’t take long to come out at all. All the food was hot and fresh, even the strawberries were freshly cut. We will definitely be spending many more breakfast and lunch dates here!“

My wife and I have been coming to Maiku for 3 years after finding the good reviews online. We have NEVER been disappointed by Maiku in the dozen or two dozen times we've eaten here. Both dining in and take out, the food is always hot, fresh, and flavorful. The owner is the sweetest woman in the world, and the staff always packs up our take-out orders with the care of a family member. I've been recommending Maiku for years, and figured it was time to leave a review as well. Food, pricing, and atmosphere is a 10/10. Hands down the best Pho in the city, and, in our opinion, best in the country. I'm going to miss this place when we move!!!“

“Me and my girlfriend went to Baby Tacos today for the first time we got there a few minutes before they opened. Who I’m assuming the owner was very friendly and still waited on us. The food was done in minutes and when I went to check out he told me to put my money away the first one is on the house. There aren’t to many businesses like this one in this day and age. “I really enjoyed visiting this craft brewery. Their IPAs are really good, specially the Hazies.
They have indoor seating and a big outdoor patio with plenty of seating. Pet friendly.
There is a food truck at the entrance and they allow food from outside. We ordered takeout and brought it here to have it with some good beers.“
