“My husband and I have been excited to try this place& we finally did tonight. We live local and are pizza brats, we've even made our own dough from a Kevin Forkish book. The fact that we can get this kind of authentic artistic pizza 5 minutes from our house makes us never want to move. Customers for life.“
“This visit was a little less of a great experience like the many other times I have been here. The food was a little slow, getting to our table and arrived luke warm. Waited 20 minutes for a refill of my diet coke as I watched our waitress/ bar tender have a full-on conversation with patrons at the bar. The check came delayed as well, but I am chalking it up to having the bar tender as our waitress ?“
“I used to come to this place with my family on Saturday nights when I was a kid in the 90s. It was one of the few places that made white pizza, meaning no red sauce, before it was a big thing. My dad and mom always ordered a white pizza with ham and mushrooms to share (he couldn't have red sauce since it messed with his stomach), and my brother and I would get a cheese and pepperoni pizza. I always loved going there. I'd read all the far side comics that were plastered all over the wall of the counter while we waited for our pizzas. Pizza was always delicious. The owner, Rob, would welcome us each time we came in and knew us by name. We moved away in 1997 to Michigan, but we'd return to Pittsburgh every once in awhile to see family and friends, and when we did we'd occasionally return to Rob's and he still would still remember us. Well years went by, and I moved back to Pittsburgh as an adult almost 5 years ago. I was on a road trip with a friend to State College and we had to drive through Murrysville. I remembered my favorite childhood pizza place and was delighted to see it was still there. My friend suggested we place an order on our way home for pick up. When I placed the order I was so glad to hear a familiar voice on the phone. I ordered what we ordered back in the day-2 small pizzas: a ham and mushroom white pizza (in memory of my dad who passed away in 2008) and a pepperoni pizza for me and my friend to share. When I bit into the hamand mushroom pizza, it was just as delicious as it was when I was a kid. I'm so glad this place is still around so others can enjoy it as much as I do!?“
“Stopped here to fuel our desire for something non chain Italian.Nice ambiance. Bar sits next to the restaurant seating area which doesn't bother us but we note this because some are bothered by such an arrangement. The menu is pretty stocked with loads of well described offerings. We opted for the stuffed shells, the fettuccine Alfredo, and a steak and cheese hoagie (my kids always go against the grain). Our waitress brought out dinner rolls while we waited for our entrées. They were absolutely delicious. The entrées arrived and we ordered the large portions of each meal we had. The steak and cheese was easily a foot long and was well portioned with meat and a bountiful amount of cheese. The fettuccine Alfredo was tasty even minus the chicken or shrimp that was optional. The cheese stuffed shells were good as well. Paid $1.00 for extra sauce and I would honestly pass on doing that again. It was great sauce but - I just didn't see what extra was in my extra sauce.Great value for the menu offerings here. Solid tasty food.“
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I could keep going on, hands down the best pizza anywhere around Allegheny-Westmoreland county!! If you haven't tried their pizza or if it's too far away, it's not that far, and it is that good! Worth the trip! Or have door dash deliver! It'll be worth it!! There are pizza shops closer to where I live, but they can't come anywhere near the quality of pizza Donna Lynn's has to offer!! THANKS FIR GREAT PIZZA!!!“
“Fire and Ice is a wonderful place to get ice cream. Being that we are a Penn State family, we love having the convenience of going down the street to get our favorite ice cream! They also sell more than just ice cream. The owners are wonderful people and are very accommodating. I would 100% recommend Fire and Ice.“
“The best Fox's Pizza in Pittsburgh and that's saying a lot! Although the other day I didn't quite get the best stromboli I've ever had there, the gentleman behind the counter was so incredibly nice and pleasant while taking my order! Just a really well ran franchises store. You guys always do an amazing job, both with the food AND customer service! I'll definitely keep coming back, too!!“
“First time there, everything was very good. We loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent. I didn't care for my Pasta Carbonara, but that was a matter of personal taste. We all loved the appetizers and everyone else enjoyed their entrees.Second time there, last night, was a different story. The food was still very good but the server dropped the ball. I took my son, DIL and little grandson for dinner. We got an appetizer, 3 adult entrees and chicken fingers and fries for the little guy. Another server brought out the 3 adult entrees, but not the chicken fingers. We figured they might be coming although they were the quickest thing to make. After about 10 minutes, we realized it wasn't coming. It was hard to find our server bc they seem to all like to hang out in the kitchen. When I caught a glimpse of her in the kitchen, I asked her about the chicken fingers. She said she would check and came and told us that she had failed to put the order in but it would only take 4 minutes. It took over 15 minutes to get them. When they came, the rest of us were finished eating and had given the little guy some of our meals. We should have just told the server to take it back and take it off the check. Instead, we just boxed it up and took it home. The fries were coated with way too much salt. When the bill came, no apology for screwing up one of the meals and no offer to take it off the bill since we didn't get the simplest meal until the rest of our party was finished eating. Disappointing, but we will go back based upon our prior experience. Hopefully we will get a different server next time.“
