“A group of us normally go to Hoss's once a year and we all love the Salas bar and soup. The dinner entries are normally not so good either over cooked,or lack of flavor. But this year we were all nicely surprised and grateful every order was perfectly cooked.
Our waitress Lisa was fantastic, very attentive, she meet our needs without us asking us for to much. She was very polite and helpful. Big Kudos to her.“

“My husband and I have been going to the Village Inn for many years now. Everything we have eaten there has been so delicious from sandwiches to great Italian Food . My favorite is the stuffed crabmeat mushroom appetizer, bruschetta and Chicken Romano. The meatballs and pasta are so good. My favorite dessert is the Tiramisu. I highly recommend the Verona Village Inn.“

Everyone I dealt with, from the event coordinator, kitchen staff, and wait staff, were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our event a special one. I would definitely recommend Rene’s in the future.“

“Rob, our waiter, and the Manager were amazing. We started with some appetizers, and they were all great. I loved the Bang Bang Shrimp, my sister got the Wings, and my mom got the Fried Calamari and Bang Bang shrimp. Everything was sooo delicious. I had Combo D with extra 1/2 lb crab cluster, and it was perfect. Rob got my seasoning just right by adjusting the salt and spice. He really listened to us and made sure we had a great time. Ocean’s Treasure never disappoints. It was nice and quiet inside, and the place was clean too. We’ll definitely be back.“

“A nice little place! My husband and I did some antiquing for our date day in the Greensburg area and wanted to find a place that kind of fit in with that theme. This place definitely fit the bill! Decorated in Route 66 items, it gave that feel of yesteryear with decor items such as neon car wall art, an old Coke cooler and an old radio. The tables have plain white paper as the table cover which gave us time to fit in a few tic tac toe games before we were served. The service was very pleasant! Friendly and constantly refilling drinks. There is a large bar area separated from the dining room. Fast service, beer, cocktails, wine. I got the meatball hoagie and fries, while my husband chose the phillie cheesteak and chips. Our only complaint was that for the cost of the sandwiches, they were a little small. Don’t get me wrong, the taste was amazing, but just wished the sandwiches were a little longer. We were still a little hungry after finishing. Chips were really good! “My family stopped by on Saturday afternoon ordered a Pgh pizza and loaded fries. The Pizza was out of this world. The fries were fresh cut and delicious. Our server was Jodie and she was so friendly and efficient we never had to ask a refill on drinks. Most pleasant trip there ever.“

The seasoning is the best part, I always ask for extra in addition to buying a side of it so I can cover everything in it 🤣 I’ve tried quite a few of their seafood options- shrimp, cod, perch, catfish filet & nuggets- and have never been disappointed by any of them. The pick 2 combo with shrimp and catfish nuggets is my go-to though, best catfish I’ve ever had. The fries are always hot and crispy even when I get them delivered through doordash, and the hush puppies are great too. And you gotta have the funnel cake sticks for dessert! I love Hook 💕🐟🍤“

“Tried the General tsos chicken, and pork fried rice. The tsos was pretty good in terms of flavor and spice, but the chicken pieces felt a touch lacking. The pork fried rice was one of the better fried rice dishes I have had in the area but certainly not the best. Overall would certainly recommend.“

“Food and staff are fantastic and so sweet. I got the shrimp pineapple boat. I got it to go because the music was a little too loud for my tasting but they wrapped it up very nicely. For those complaining that the prices are too high It was only about $3.50 more than Bahama Breeze and so much tastier and better quality plus now I know where I can get it without having to drive all the way to Robinson. They could however use some better advertising as I would have never known about this place if I hadn’t seen a Facebook post.“

“There aren't too many of these places left and I'm glad this one in Penn Hills got it together, cause they used to be HORRIBLE. They have improved in a MAJOR way as far as the SERVICE. The past few times I've been in there, the people taking the orders were prompt and polite. Even if they were busy, someone at least acknowledged you. That alone went a long way compared to what it used to be. I'm thankful for the new leadership in that place, it's made a difference. The food is what the food is. Lol. It's still good ole Long John Silver. It's nice, cause it's hasn't taken forever to get the food either. The crew in the kitchen was on it. And heck.... They even have a large type matt on the floor where you order your food, so your not sliding your feet across the floor from all the grease in the air lol ... Great job Long Silver, I hope they are able to keep up the now good service.“
