“Absolutely love this bar. One of few I'll even venture out to. The people are great, the bartender makes the perfect drinks (personally I prefer trash cans and long islands), and I always find new and great friends to shoot darts with.“

“Dining out is all about service. Staff we met was up beat and friendly. John, who attended us for dinner was spot on at every point in the meal service. Many thanks to him. The food is very well prepared and presented. My partner had the chicken parmesan I had the meatloaf, not on the google review choices. However, I chose because to me it represented a regional food type. And, it was very tasty. We will return for a repeat. Although named a tavern, it is more a fine dining establishment. Lively customers that were charming and relaxing.“

“This was a wonderful place to have lunch! We got the wings and they were phenomenal. Our waitress made sure we always had what we needed, and even gave us a few extra wings because the ones we received were a bit small. I can’t wait to eat here again!“

“Staff was really cool, food was bangin. Had the hankering for some hotdogs on a Sunday after a baby shower. Stopped through because the dogs were supposedly really good, they were, but so were the borgor and the tendies. The sauces and wiz were yumpy. 10/10 full enforcement.“

“I took my husband to the tavern for his birthday since we were visiting Strasburg and he loves a good reuben. He had the reuben and I had the Smash burger. We travel and have dined out a lot from fine dining to food trucks and I can definitely give the Spring House Tavern 5 solid stars! We’ve had Primanti Brother’s and didn’t give them 5 stars… Besides the entree, we enjoyed the pretzels and, of course, beer! The waitress was attentive but not hovering, the bartender checked in on our drinks and the overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable (no sticky floors or crumby tables). It’s a gem in downtown Strasburg and definitely worth a go!“

“We were2 senior couples looking for a local bar to have a few drinks before we headed back to our hotel. From the outside, one would might have a modicum of concern before entering.. but we were up for some fun. And that exactly what we found. There was a dart game in progress and the pool table was busy with some locals. We were welcomed by PJ, an absolute lovely local who has been serving drinks here since 2017. The drinks were cold and generous, the conversation delightful and the welcome sincere! The walls are covered with license plates from all over as well as some snappy sayings and the ceilings COVERED with dollar bills signed by patrons over the years ! While we didn't eat , the locals said its one of the best places around, with Vic, the owner shopping all the local markets every day for his supplies. You wont be disappointed if you stop in here .. and if you are lucky enough o be served by PJ , tell her you came because you read this review !“

“I had an exceptional experience at the Old Lincoln House. The food is awesome and it’s such a warm and friendly atmosphere. It would be perfect for a special occasion. It was just a refreshing, nice experience and I highly recommend it.“

“One of the coolest restaurants I’ve been to in a while. Would have been a total vibe but our waiter very obviously didn’t want to be at work. He rushed us through. No fault to the restaurant. Will def be going back. The food was delish. Get the Brussel Sprout appetizer, you won’t be sorry.“

“Cozy place. My beer is a buck cheaper than any other public bar I've been to, bartenders are all great. The pool tables successfully transport balls from one end to the other, no obstacles in sight. If I had one complaint, maybe try putting some spikes or bumps on the pool tables, switch it up a bit. As far as I can tell, nobody has spilled beer all over the pool tables, giving them that trademark dive bar stickiness. Feels inauthentic.“

I unfortunately left my wristlit behind and they had it and all cash and cards were still intact.Crystal who answered the phone the next morning could not have been any more helpful with my concern of my wristlet so grateful for such a wonderful managed operation.I highly recommend on all levels.“

“So, we've been to the outside deck during the summer, but we never knew its opened in the winter in the hotel adjacent to the outside deck! Went there this past Saturday and were pleasantly surprised. Nice place and great food. Only suggestion we would have is to serve drafts in chilled glasses. Nothing better than a really, really chilled draft even in the winter! It's also quite spacious. This is our new go to place.“

“Decent food, decent drinks, decent price, decent people. Been coming here every Sunday for 2 months without any issues. They keep the place clean and the customer (at least this customer) happy.This was my first weekday (Thursday) here and it's nice. Just ate tacos and calamari in one go! ?“
