“Attended a funeral at RJ Slaters funeral home, 12 of us went there between viewing times and had great service and the food order was done quickly. Everyone enjoyed their food and the people from Virginia never even seen a whole chicken wing. It was a great weather day and a few of us even walked the block to get there..”

“Ordered a coffee and the gluten free snickerdoodle. The coffee had a rich and bold flavor that was very delicious. The snickerdoodle was one of the best cookies I have ever had. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The seating on the inside is very cozy and inviting. Would definitely recommend!”

Over the past few years I've had a chance to try many of their dishes and I've never had one I didn't enjoy.

The Good:
-Consistently delicious food
-Multiple cuisines to choose from
-Generous portion sizes
-Unbelievably low cost
-Kind and gracious customer service
-Very clean

The Bad:
-They close at 8pm

The Beautiful:
I mistakenly ordered a dish without noodles when I meant to order a noodle dish. They were kind enough to cook me up some noodles even though they were about to close. They were very gracious to me when they could have told me it was my fault and sent me away. They stayed a little later to help me get the meal I wanted. I would never have asked this of them, but they insisted. This is very typical of the customer service I've experienced there. Just very lovely people offering good food at good prices to the local community.

My favourites: Tom Khai Soup, Pork Eggrolls, Cashew Crusted Chicken, and Double Cooked Pork

Vegetarian options: Nine available vegetable entrees. Most other dishes can have a tofu or vegetable substitution.

Dietary restrictions: Staff is very willing to make reasonable adjustments to ordered meals

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking with a curb cut up to the strip mall. No automatic doors (2 door entry). Wheelchair accessible dining.”

“Got the Buffalo steak sub. If you like spicy, they do it right. Most places make buffalo chicken or steak subs with barely any spice or use basic hot sauce, this place makes it hot.”

“Always love Bob's. I've never been to the other locations, but the Tarentum location has never been a disappointment. Staff is always friendly & helpful. I always get the chicken salad (not Bob's way). In fact, this is one of my favorite chicken salads! I do not like celery, or anything else that crunches when you bite it, so I love that the 'crunchies' are chopped tiny, so they don't really crunch when I eat it. My husband has tried several (all Bob's way), and all have been good.”

“I’m from Denver and happened to be in town for meeting a few weeks ago. This coffee place was amazing. It reminded me of my time in a small college town. “It was a nice little place. I dont do large crowds and this place definitely isnt big enough to get giant crowds, tho I could see it getting packed. Bartender Kelly was fantastic, talkative & funny. She's a very sweet lady. The crowd was small, Met a few nice ppl and Kelly had my back when sketchy men approached me. I'd def go back and reccomend to those looking for a soft non wild crowd to just socialize. Thanks for the great experience on my 1st time out alone and 1st out in years!!”

The pot roast could use a little more flavor but I get it. Was disappointed on the portion size, with the fries, but was informed that they are pre-portioned.. understood. I guess all restaurants are doing that now. Crazy. Becca and DJ was nice. Becca I believe did a little extra for me in pleasing the guest, preciate you. Denny's do better and give your customers a little more in portions please. Thanks ladies for all you do”
