“This is a ma & pa kind of place that just makes you feel at home when you enter. All of the staff are wonderful and struck me as people who are just genuinely kind hearted. The inside is kept clean and neat, homemade cookies are displayed perfectly through an old school diner case which complimented the atmosphere well. The food was absolutely delicious. The personal Stromboli was baked to perfection and was a huge portion for such a low price. The cheesesteak sub is a new favorite and easily one of the best I have ever had. The meat was deliciously seasoned, the sub was well packed, the cheese melty, the fried onions blended perfectly. Even the BLT was done well. The pumpkin rolls were mouth watering and a sweet savory finish to top off a delicious dinner. I cannot say enough good things about this unexpected gem. From its atmosphere and people to its seemingly homemade recipes and prices, I can see why this shop has been around for so long. I only wish we had known about it sooner. “Thank you for the wonderful wine tasting at Royal Rabbit. Giovanni and Roy were so both so welcoming, kind and invested in their craft. You can tell they really care about their wines here. Each wine we tasted were bright and flavorful, definitely make this a stop on your tours. Im sure it’s quite beautiful here in the summertime! Easy parking.”

“This pizza was amazing honestly. I got extra cheese and bacon but normally a lot of places skimp out on the extras… not here! They did forget a few items but the owner came and delivered it personally and very quick. It was a great thing really. “A very reasonably priced country cafe with all the right food and an ice cream shop built in. My wife had the cream of crab and said it was one of best she's ever had, while I had a delicious Cowboy burger. Lexi was a great hostess and continually helped out our waitress to ensure our satisfaction by getting us drink refills and answering questions. Definitely recommend!”

“Stopped in Gene's for lunch. Chili was great, the fries crispy and not greasy, great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Fair priced meal and draft beer. Repeat visits for sure!”

“We reserved the back area of the main tap room for my dad’s surprise birthday party. It was a blast and Falling Branch was the best place to throw it. The staff was friendly and very helpful, plus their selection of beer and ciders for the non beer drinkers was great! 10/10 recommend throwing a party here or just visiting for the day. “This is my new breakfast spot. The wife and I went out for breakfast Friday morning she recommended twin silos. We split a sausage gravy biscuit. Then both got our own meals and drinks with a coffee. It was $20 that's incredible cheap these days. Food was good service was excellent didn't have to ask for refills. So much food we took half home. Definitely found my new spot, and don't have to drive into town.”

“First time visiting, was in the area and my wife picked it from Yelp. The good - gorgeous facilities, broad selection of beers, decent menu variety. At the end of our meal we were definitely full... we had the chili, the brisket platter w a 1/2 chicken and the Mac n cheese. The so-so - the building was freezing, the waitress said it was because there were only one set of vents for heating and cooling and they were about 30' in the air... lots of people with their coats on. - The cornbread had an odd taste that my wife called "dish soap flavor". Asked the waitress if there was lavender or other strong ingredient but she had no idea and said there's a new pastry chef. - The menu says "1/2 chicken" but seriously, it could easily be confused for a quail... ( see photos ). That said, the smoke flavor on it was excellent.”

As a beer snob, they have a very good selection of local craft brews. Food was very good. I had the slider trio. There was a small hiccup with my order which was corrected immediately. Meats: the ham and beef were delicious, and juicy. The pork was a little dry. All were nicely seasoned and smoked. The rib ends were also very good, and well seasoned. The sliders came with a ton of fresh cut fries which were just ok. Plenty of food, fair prices. Parking is behind the building.”
