“My husband and I are traveling and stopped in for a late lunch. We ordered the cod sándwich and salad bar. The food was much better than we had anticipated and service was good. I recommend adding different types of lettuce than iceberg and more hot tea options. Will eat there again.“

“It was a very nice experience from the time we walked in. It wasn't busy so we got seated and waited on promptly. The waitress was awesome! She was friendly and helpful answering our questions about certain menu items and refilling our drinks in a timely manner. The food was phenomenal!! I just got a hamburger which was delicious but my husband got a full rack of ribs! Those ribs were the best I think I have ever tasted! I would definitely recommend this restaurant! “Pure honest review: Came here for the first time today. May I say I have a new favorite restaurant to say the least? By far the best BBQ I’ve ever had. I was already in awe with their unique variety of drink selections. I couldn’t decide, so I purchased all three. (peach basil water, strawberry mint water and of course the OG Turners Tea). I was astonished whenever I saw that they offered a BBQ sundae. First time ever seeing something like that and ohh my I’m happy I ordered it. Chefs kiss. Absolutely delicious. From the tenderness, to the seasoning and the master mind behind this combination all of it cured my hanger and craving for BBQ. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners today. Very kind individuals. I see why Pit Take BBQ has such high ratings! Delicious food, kind ownership, great pricing and I love the unique options available.“

“We have eaten here a few times and had great experiences. We saw they were open on Mothers day and decided to go there, to bad we were an hour later than they were still serving. We went in and the owner came out, he insisted that he cook for us even though they had been done. I was blown away by this, you would never get that kind of treatment at other places. We declined his offer because Im sure he wanted to get home to his family, but the fact there are still good people out there like this gives me hope. 5 stars all day!“

The pretzel sticks tasted like they were fresh baked and the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were what you would expect and tasty. My wife got the Pittsburgh salad with chicken one day and salmon the other. I had a smash burger and fries. Great burger and fresh cut fries. Would have like to see a few more beers on draft, but the selection covered all the basics.“

If you're a healthy eater you know what a struggle it is to find any decent salad options, let alone a build your own. The salads are huge and you can get pretty much whatever you want. I think the rule is 5 toppings aside from cheese/meat, but they don't count and will make sure your salad is exactly how you want it. Everything is fresh. This upscale establishment had walls from floor to ceiling on all sides. It even had not one, but two doors to go through. And get this, they on the hinges! Wow. But that's nothing compared to what I discovered entering the final door... the floor... i thought they forgot to put da sawdust down and Id be walking on raw dirt, naw, naw, it was better than saw dust. You ever hear of fellers puttin down wood across an entire floor? That must have taken a lot of dedicated non drinkers a lot of time. It nearly brought a tear to my eye to know they cared enough for me to spend all that time for me. I went to look up to the Heavens and thank God, but I couldn't see a cloud in sight. You know that dang place had a roof on it? And not any normal roof, a roof without a hole in it? Well I forgot what happened next, but I woke up in a ditch, pulled out my phone and wrote this review. I'm not sure if it was real or some kind of dream, but if I can find my way back to the country, where all the people want to be nice to everyone(like everyone everyone should learn to be nice to each other) , I'd walk right back in.
