“Thompsontown Cornerstone Deli is a beloved local gem in Thompsontown, Pennsylvania, situated in Juniata County. Known for its homestyle cooking and welcoming atmosphere, the deli is a favorite among locals and travelers alike. It boasts ample parking, fair prices, generous portions, and spotless cleanliness. Customers frequently praise the excellent service and the undeniable desire to return again and again. The establishment, formerly called “Thompsontown Corner Deli and Restaurant,” was revitalized in January 2024 when Tina and Tom took ownership. They renamed it Thompsontown Cornerstone Deli and introduced thoughtful updates, including a revamped menu, more affordable pricing, and the addition of modern payment options like debit cards, credit cards, and Apple Pay. The menu features a wide variety of comforting soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts, along with three daily specials that keep diners coming back for more. Conveniently located just off the 22/322 east and west Thompsontown exits, it’s a perfect spot for a hearty meal or quick bite. Open Monday through Saturday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thompsontown Cornerstone Deli delivers quality food, excellent service, and a touch of modern convenience, making it a cornerstone of the Thompsontown community and a must-visit destination.“

“Traditional American restaurant. This restaurant already operated for 75 years and now is managed by the 3rd/4th generations. The food is so good! We ordered a few entree(chicken bowl, 6 Oz sirloin steak, liver and onion) , the portion is big and the food is freshly made. The vegetable of the day is sautéed tomatoes and the sauce is superb!“

“Very yummy and affordable food. Owned by a very nice and local family. Personally, my work hours make it hard for me to stop and come in (after getting ready, and then my commute, I just do not have time to stop in the morning). But I love this place. It is such a hole in the wall, and deserves more recognition. They take very good care of their customers.“
