Newtown Brewing Company Brewery • $$
103 Penns Trail, Newtown

“We wanted to try a new brewery over the weekend and this one didn't disappoint! I tried the cranberry orange sour and the gingerbread spiced beer (I think called cotton headed ninny muggins) and enjoyed them both! There is something for everyone. Service was quick and friendly and we found an empty table quickly. Would definitely come back again!“

“We were in the mood for fish and chips and decided to try Iron Hill. We were not disappointed! Tender fresh cod lightly beer battered with fries and slaw. We ordered a flight of beers from the varied selections on the menu and liked each one. Will recommend and be back. Heard some of the desserts are excellent too. Just need to save room. Oh, and portions were sizable. Enough to take home if you are a light eater??“

Odd Logic Brewing Co. Brewery • $$
500 Bristol Pike, Bristol - 9.34 miles

“Came in here, this craft brewery has been on my radar for a while. Had a full pour of the Tree Trippers IPA, which was excellent. We had plenty of seating upstairs, and it wasn’t too busy or crowded. There was a food truck out front, and we ordered a good Philly cheesesteak and fries. Looking forward to coming back here again someday.“

Broad Street Brewing Brewery • $$
2621 Durham Rd, Bristol - 7.3 miles

“One of the stops on the Bucks County ale trail that we may not have found otherwise. Easy to find and plenty of parking. We stopped by in the early afternoon so there were only a handful of patrons at the time which afforded us extra attention from the bartender. She was very knowledgeable on the flavor profiles of the selection available as well as the local area. Very friendly and attentive! We prefer dark beer so our opinion is limited to that selection although there are many other choices. The Midnight Ryder was unique and interesting, something different but enjoyable. Good Day Philly was good and Delaware Dunkel was interesting and worth a try. Our favorite of the choices would have to be the Twin 6. They only had snacks available however, I think food trucks frequent here and they have a stage for live entertainment that was setting up for the evening we were there and expected to bring a crowd. They have a good space for it. Definitely worth a stop!“

Barrel Splitters Brewing Brewery • $
1890 Woodhaven Rd, Philadelphia - 8.87 miles

“This was our first time visiting and will be back. The beer was delicious, with a good variety of styles, ABV and pricing. The bartender, Robert, was super helpful in chosing beers for my flights and 16 oz after. We discussed flavor profiles. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because this brewery advertises themselves as family friendly but there are no changing tables.“

“A cozy small town feel in a bar that brews their own beer. I loved it and will absolutely return! If you're in the area, stop in and grab a beer ( I love love love the one on tap now with coffee and vanilla notes). And grab a Dawg from Cheese Dawgs formerly on Bustleton Pike.“

“Free Will Brewing Taproom at Peddlers Village. A great place to grab a draft beer and pull up a chair and people watch or just chat with your family and friends. It is always a favorite of our family to visit when we are at Pedslers Village. You can enjoy your beverage on the deck outside or at a table inside. You can also order food delivered to enjoy with your brew. We enjoyed the following draft beers and would highly recommend them. 1) Beadhead, a dark Czech Lager with 3.8 ABV; 2) Kragle, a west coast IPA with citrus, simcoe, Columbus and Calypso with 6.6 ABV; 3) Northern Pils, a Canadian style Pilsner with 5 ABV. Ask for a sample if you are not sure what you would like to order. The staff are always friendly and helpful. You can pick up some cans to take home with you as well as a shirt, sweatshirt or beer glass to remember your visit.“

Naked Brewing Company - Huntingdon Valley Brewery • $
51 Buck Rd, Huntingdon Valley - 7.5 miles

“Naked Brewing is a quintessential PA brewery - unassuming, in an industrial park, not sure if you’re in the right place, etc. But once you walk in, it’s a whole different story. First off, John was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I came here for happy hour and were the only ones there (because we were mad early) and John was just the best. Had fantastic recommendations, great stories, and was all around the perfect host. But let’s get to business - the beers were amazing. You cannot go wrong here, no matter what your preference may be. From lagers to stouts to IPAs to sours, every beer we had was unique (in a good way) and delicious. Definitely make Naked Brewing a stop on your beer trail list!“

“We held a birthday celebration for my Wife at the Vault in their private event room. We hosted over 50 guests and the room was perfect for a party of that size. Plenty of seating throughout, and the room was nice and comfortable. Everyone enjoyed themselves and raved about the food! Last, but not least, Sarah and the entire staff at the Vault that took care of us for the 3 hour event were awesome! Helpful and attentive and making sure the experience for everyone was great. Sarah was communicative and helpful in putting together the event as well. I would recommend using the Vault for a private event. We are very happy with how everything turned out!“

Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co Brewery • $$
909 Ray Ave, Croydon - 10.01 miles

“If you are looking for a good brewery in PA then you have to check out Neshaminy Creek. They have many different options to satisfy your beer craving. Sometimes it can be hard to just choose one beer which is why they offer flights. The place is pretty spacious and it is a great place to watch any of the Philadelphia sports teams. Every time I have gone there, they have had a food truck outside and their food is also amazing! If you have not checked Neshaminy Creek out, then you are missing out!“

Aristaeus Craft Brewing Company Brewery •

“We had a decent size gathering here for a 30th birthday during their Oktoberfest release party. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and it made our night so much better. The beers were good, the cocktails were good (especially the frozen Irish coffee) and the food truck was also good. It’s a great space and a great location. The owner was extremely friendly when he introduced himself to us to make sure we had a good time, and we absolutely did.We will all definitely be back again“

Mad Princes Brewing Brewery • $$
2537 Bogarts Tavern Rd, Doylestown - 9.51 miles

“This small brewery is tucked away on a side street in Buckingham. It is easy to miss it, but that would be a mistake. We had the Belgian Triple, SMaSH Ale, and the Rye Saison. All the beers were outstanding. A Belgian Wit is being released soon, so I will definitely be back. The owners are super friendly and share their knowledge about making the beer. Bring your own food and sit at the long communal table to enjoy your beer.“
