“Honestly, this might just be one of my all-time favorite sushi spots. The Kanpachi Crudo and Crispy Tuna are absolutely outstanding. There’s also a fantastic selection of non-sushi options from the kitchen, perfect for anyone in your group who isn’t a sushi fan. The restaurant is clean, beautifully presented, kid-friendly, and, above all, serves truly exceptional food!“

“Koi is an amazing place! It is some of the best sushi my husband has ever tried, and it comes complete with a special design by their sushi chef. This family owned restaurant has multiple member of their family, and it truly adds a personal touch. “We ordered delivery the beauty Alaskan roll and the torch roll. I love sushi but try not to eat much white rice so I was excited to see they had a black rice substitute option. So much so, that she plans on bringing her crew there for their next hang. We ordered from the lunch specials- eel for me with particularly tasty miso soup- I could smell the smoky scent that tells me it will be flavorful & it was. I HAD to have the spicy tuna sandwich too-it’s still as delicious as I remember from quite a few years ago. My aunt had a beef teriyaki bento box from the bottom of the lunch specials list on the menu & she enjoyed that & everything else in the Boxed Lunch. I let her try my eel and the marinated daikon from the platter & she was surprised at how yummy they both were. Portions were generous too. The staff were very nice, and attentive. We couldn’t have had a nicer experience. We’ll be back much sooner next time.“

“The staff was friendly and service was good but the place was so empty the atmosphere was kind of awkward. The Yellowtail Jalapeno and Shrimp Shumai were delicious. I also got the seafood ramen and while it wasn't bad it wasnt good. The vegetable broth was the best part, the mushroom, crabmeat and scallops were good, the fish cake looked cool but had no flavor and the Shrimp were awful. They were clearly thawed frozen shrimp and they were hard and just gross. I would not order this again but I would try a different ramen on the menu.“

“When Bywood Seafood closed in my neighborhood a few years back, I was bereft -- until I remembered having the most delicious salmon at a friend's home in Bryn Mawr. I asked her where she had purchased it, and so off I went to try Philly Lobster -- near the Whole Foods, so very convenient. Their seafood is outstanding, the customer service is quick and gracious, and I am a devoted customer. They let you know whether the fish is farmed or wild caught. When I needed individual filets for a cousin who was recovering from surgery, the gentleman who waited on me took the time and trouble to cut several large pieces into individual portions, wrapping them for her to freeze individually. One last bonus: they also sell fresh fruit and vegetables, convenient and good quality.“

The atmosphere gets a 4 because it's a food court inside a supermarket and not a restaurant. I usually get it to go but the tables are clean (and shared with the other restaurants there).

Wheelchair accessibility: Located inside an ADA compliant marketplace, the whole place is 1 story tall so no ramps or elevators to contend with.“

“The gyozas are my favorite. Literally nowhere else in the area makes them like they do. They are the fried pork gyozas. They are super crispy and the sauce that comes with is delicious. I always get those then hit CinCin next door for lo mein and general tso’s. Takeout and dining in is great. The atmosphere is super cool. I’ve also gotten sushi at the counter and it was tasty. It is a tad expensive for the gyozas $6-8 for the 5 gyozas but worth it.“

I worked temporarily in Conshohocken and used a food delivery app to order from this location. I decided to order the "lion king" and a couple more rolls. I must confess that I was initially confused by the appearance of the Lion King due to it being a "baked" hot roll, but I was willing to give it a try. This roll is one of the best and most unique flavors I have ever tried. Even to this day, I still remember the taste and wish I could order it again. Unfortunately, I live far away from PA, but if you're nearby, love sushi, and like trying new things, I encourage you to do so.“

“I'm so glad I found this place. Right in the heart of town. Very nice dark/low-key atmosphere, food is always delicious, and service is impeccable. Awesome place to take that special someone or the family. Everything about Izu is consistent, so you're getting what you pay for every time. Very good menu selections. How many rolls can you consume in one sitting? How many are Izu willing to make? Remember to let someone else pour your sake for you!“

“My family had a wonderful time here for my son's 11th birthday! He wanted to try out the hibachi experience, so we reserved a hibachi table. There was another family at the table across from us enjoying a meal as well. The food was incredible (though not one of us managed to catch a piece of it in our mouths), my husband said it was the best meal he's had all year. The hibachi room is decorated with murals of video game & cartoon characters like Mario & SpongeBob, which was great because my son is a gamer. We brought a birthday cake in with us, and the other family joined in to sing "Happy Birthday" & shared his cake with us. The service was great. The Tuna Dumplings are amazing and the special rolls on the white board are always delicious. This is one of the few places that can get fresh wasabi, although, now that people know about it, it tends to sell out quick.“
