“Ate at this diner for the first time today and cannot say enough about the hospitality, and quality of the food. The family who run it clearly take a great deal of pride in what they serve. A unique local eatery you should definitely try when in the area.“

“We had dinner on a Tuesday evening and it was not busy. We got a table right away.
We used to frequent this place over a decade ago and came for the Cincinnati chilli. It did not disappoint. The chicken tenders were on special Tuesday for $3 ea. We thought that was odd for chicken tenders but then we saw the size of them. The kids meal comes with 2 and 1 was the size of her head lol. They were also very good. The breading has a very good flavor.“

“The Harvest Restaurant and Bar in North East, PA, is truly a hidden gem, even more so after my unexpected weekend snowed in at a local hotel. Stranded due to a blizzard and a car accident, I found solace in the warmth and hospitality of this fantastic establishment. From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was exceptional. Heather, the owner, greeted me with genuine kindness and made me feel right at home. Her dedication to providing a great dining experience was evident throughout my visit. The food was the highlight of my stay. I tried the pot roast melt, which was nothing short of spectacular. The tender meat, melted cheese, and deliciously toasted bread created a comforting and hearty meal that warmed me up from the inside out. I also indulged in the ribs, which were fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. Each bite was a delight, showcasing the kitchen's skill and commitment to quality. Despite the circumstances that brought me there, the staff's friendly demeanor, along with the amazing food, turned what could have been a disappointing weekend into a memorable one. If you're in the area, don’t miss out on The Harvest Restaurant and Bar—great service, great food, and truly awesome hospitality await!“

“I would like to do the pros first because there are a few. The building is beautiful and nicely done. Our waitress worked hard. My French toast was great and my omelette was good. The cons: I would have addressed this with the staff because it’s not fair to have complaints and just do reviews but I was with someone who never says anything and would have been embarrassed if I had. But how will a business improve if they don’t get feedback? To start, my bagel was cold and hard. Left most of it. My home fries were cold. The pancakes were cold. Our waitress did everything: took orders, delivered meals, refilled coffees (when she had time which wasn’t often), set out ketchup bottles on all the tables, cleared and wiped tables…all while another young girl stood behind the bar talking all about herself to a customer and did nothing to help. We aren’t from the area so I’m not sure we’ll have the opportunity to be back but if we do get to Erie again I’d certainly give them another try.“

“A group of us had gone to Alexander’s Saturday January 27th to celebrate a 30th birthday. Alexander’s didn’t disappoint. Our food was outstanding and the service was just as wonderful. Our server was Melena her personality fit right in with our crew that came in. You can tell she loves her job. She was quick and very attentive. Another plus was the heated outdoor seating. We all can’t wait to come back and eat there again and I hope we are lucky to Melena as our server again!“

“We visited for the first time yesterday afternoon (8/1)and our group of 7 (including 3 young kids)absolutely loved it. We have talked the last 3 years of visiting Findley Lake to venture to Pine Junction and just never made it, this year my mom, grandmother and son met one of the owners at Dollar General (white van with Texas plates driven by peeps from Central PA) who invited us out. We have decided that from now on that a trip to Pine Junction will be in our must do list. The Brussel sprouts and shrimp chowder were absolutely to die for.“

“We went for a friends birthday! It was very good food wise, however, I snuck up to the bar and asked about birthday celebrations and if they did anything special, she had said yes we do a brownie and asked me which table/person. The brownie was great and had a sparkler! BUT when we got our bills the birthday girl had a $7 charge for the brownie! I was very confused because I’ve never been somewhere that charged for a birthday brownie and was not told it would cost anything. Just surprising especially being they charged the birthday person. All and all it was good food but wish the staff be more informative.“
